Being a Flyers fan, that chapter was hard to read, for obvious reasons. lol However, I loved the little family gathering part at the end. Great job! Can't wait to read the epilogue!
I have loved this trilogy ever since the beginning. I can't believe that this is over, but I cant wait for the epilogue and more to come from you. Good job honey and keep writing awesome stories, because u can always count on menreading anything that u write. Love ya.
It's taken me a week but I have managed to read all 3 stories. So good. I wasn't even looking for a Ben eager story but I found one and absolutely fell in love with it. I can not wait for more!
I started reading the entire trilogy last night and I was honestly hooked after the first chapter of Chicago City Lights. Baby Ben is so adorable and hopefully one day he will be just as good of a hockey player as his father is.
The goal Ben made that night still gives me chills whenever I watch highlights from that game. He, without a doubt, deserved that belt!
Knowing his time in Chicago was coming to an end, and he and his family would soon be relocated, he refused to leave anything left undone. I almost cried while reading that. After hearing he had been traded, I was devastated. Ben is a fourth line hero and in my mind he will always be a Hawk!
It's sad this story is coming to an end. Can't wait for more. (:
how flipping cute is baby Ben? like seriously can this please not be fiction and can you and Ben please populate this world with a million baby Bens? kay thanks. :) cant wait for more<3
Even though it's still kind of salt in the wound, I really liked this chapter, lol. I love how you captured the emotion of the game and the fans perfectly. I literally laughed out loud when you mentioned Pronger taking the puck.! :)
SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I squealed so bad during that hands on the glass moments, so. FREAKING. adorable. I almost died from the cuteness. I can't wait to read more!!!! <33333
This story can never end. I has to go on forever and ever. It's so cute, and romantic, and squishy and comedic and lovable and ARGH. I just love it so much. They way you describe Ben Eager makes me feel like I know him personally even though the only games I ever seen him play were for the playoffs. But not that he's traded to the Sharks (MY HOMIES) I get to watch him play every game. I swear, when I go into my speels to my mom describing all the players to her (she doesn't follow hockey, so I love just going on and on about the player's lives to her) I almost want to say he has a wife named Evelyn and a brand new baby boy called Ben Junior. THAT'S how believable you made this story to me. And I don't know if I'm pmsing or what, but every time I read a chapter and realize that we're getting closer and closer to the end I get a little misty eyed. I know that this can't go on forever (everything golden must come to an end) so I hope that after you fnish this that you'll pick up another story that's even half as good as this and I'll read it and fall in love again.
