i don't think the progression is too fast. everything is new to her. sort of like a first crush or your first boyfriend. you think you're in love, but you're not. and Billie Joe saved her from being lonely and unhappy. if someone did that for me, especially someone as sexy as Billie Joe, i'd feel the same haha.
