I literally have not slept since I started reading this. It took me all night, but I absolutely enjoyed every second of it. Thank you so much for sharing this lovely story!

The girl behind the register squealed. “Holy shit,” she hissed, looking around me, “You’re Billie Joe Armstrong!” I turned to look at him, slightly surprised. His smug expression lit up his face like the neon sign outside on the door.

I wondered if his ego could possibly get any larger.

And your superb hatred for his ego comes out, even here ;D

The guy laughed. “Yeah, Tré thought it would be funny to throw my copy out the window,” he said,

Tre would do something like this. HE JUST WOULD. I can see it already XDD

FIRST CHAPTER ANALYSIS: I like it, I like the concept; it's that typical inner fight almost just from this chapter. I have no doubt my mind'll get fucked, for lack of better words, as it goes on. But just from that, it's a promising start. She didn't jump all up on him, which is a nice, traditional change. :)

SECOND CHAPTER ANALYSIS: Holy bitchy parents much? However, it is fairly realistic. Seeing him pop up on a prestigious daughter's computer screen is like a bomb went off in someone's face for anyone's parents, really.

Billie is so seductive no matter what. He's turning out true to his character ;D

I love how they're rescuing her, and she's still on the fence about it, but really wants to let loose. It's a realistic portrayal, and there's more to come from my comments :D

I just finished this story in one go and I must say it has really been a while since I last found such a great story on this site. The character development is impressive as well as your writing! I absolutely adore your style. What I love the most is that there aren't any obvious plot holes and you stick to the character personalities very well.

The only thing that worried me at one point was Jamie's attitude towards Adie, but you tied it so well within the plot that I actually loathed her character for a while. Anyways, I'm most likely going to read some of your other stories in the next few days so don't be surprised if I just randomly drop comments on something that you've completed a long time ago.

P.S. I'm so glad that there is a sequel in progress. :)

sophie sophie sophie. i just need to be your last comment. i think i just read it all over again (or well, big parts of it, but it all got a whole new meaning now i'm the kind of girl that jumps over the fact that Mikey is hungry) and it'd feel weird not to comment. but now i'm commenting.. it feels weird commenting.

Sigh, I spent all day .. well, the past seven hours(?) reading this story - I was that hooked. I think it's therefore rational to say I absolutely LOVED this :D For serious.
I can't pinpoint to you every-single-thing I loved, because I would really have an entire page dedicated to that.

I totally dig this story, even though it is complete, I like how she's totally from the other side of the tracks than Green Day is. I love Tre in this story, he's so funny and it makes me grin from ear to ear. This is a fantastic story, you turely are an amazing writer! :D

You know how your chapter titles aren't capitalized? Well most of the time I hate things like that but it's strangely awesome on your story. I am in mad love with this story. If I was my best friend James I would marry this story. (Long story don't ask) Lol I love this story. Haha whip cream to the face.

awwwwww! i fucking adored this story and i cannot wait until you start posting chapters for the sequel. you have some serious talent.

I'm pretty much devastated that this is over :'( I had such a fun time reading it, I remember staying up till 3:35 am reading up until where you left off, and just falling in love. This is without a doubt the most addicting BJA story, and I am so glad I found it! :)
So this is my last comment on TIOAT :(

Your characters were simply amazing. I fell in love with them. I loved the changes in Sophie and how she figured out who she was and rebelled against her parents! And Mike was pretty much epic, the whole way through. Billie Joe was something I cannot put into words, he was that beautiful <3 And of course, TRE! :O He was by far my favourite, the way you wrote him had me cracking up and I wish he was my best friend :'(

The second last chapter was beautiful <3 I loved this part:

“I can’t exactly figure out the mathematics of this,” he said slowly, drawing his finger along my palm. “But I just know that I am in love.” His eyes found mine again, and I tried to remember how to breathe.

"With you."I screamed xDD. That is what I've been waiting for for sooo long. ha. His nervousness was absolutely adorable! I want them to just stay together and live happily ever after forever and ever! :)

Now onto the last chapter! *cries* I loved it!!
I'm just so happy for Sophie, she put up with A LOT (cough cough, frustrating parents!) and now she has amazing people in her life :) I so wish all of this was real!

I am majorly excited for the sequel, and I apologize for this LONG COMMENT XD I hadn't intended on making it so long, but I'm getting a little misty :( This was amazing and you better post chapter one of the sequel soon, because I'm dying over here!

We stayed locked together for the longest time, and when we finally pulled away, my cheeks hurt from the glowing happiness I felt inside me. It only swelled as I saw Billie coming down the steps, walking towards me, smiling like he was the happiest man on earth. His grin was impossibly white, stretching across his face as he wrapped his arms around me. It was a welcoming embrace, an entrance into my new life. His lips brushed against my ear, and the two words he whispered sealed my acceptance.

“Welcome home.” Best ending ever ;)
