Cute. That's quite literally the best word to summarize this update, it was nice to reincorporate Sid's family into the story and to have them be part of Ella's life as well as introducing them into Wyatt's life. I do wonder though if Sid's family would fully support Ella and Sid's relationship/friendship because she is looking to adopt Wyatt and is actually being financially supported by Sid.

I am glad that it seems like not only is Ella gradually getting happier and happier but, she also seems to be letting Sid into her life even more than previously.

While Ella was happy to see Wyatt, I also have to wonder how she will feel without actually having him with her on what would be his first Christmas. At any rate I can't wait to find out what ends up happening next.

I really do think it's for the best that Ella is getting therapy hopefully it will allow her to forgive herself for the mistakes she had made in the past and let her realize that she is good enough for Sid; overall that she deserves to be happy. I think that when things start falling in place for Ella she'll regain confidence in herself.

I'm happy that Ella has a friend too since she needs more than just Sid as a support system and now that she's looking for a job her time with Sid will be limited not only by Sid's schedule but also as her own. Hopefully Ella can get a job that she'll enjoy though.

It's nice that Mandy isn't one to simply take someone's word and opted to judge Ella herself rather than listen to what Sid's teammates were saying about her. It was also nice of her to not try to impose herself on Ella and Sid, realizing that Ella wasn't the most confident of people after having Sid's teammates judge her so harshly.

I'm curious to see how Ella and Sid's relationship will change as Ella looks for a job and attempts to adopt Wyatt back all while Sid is dealing with the regular pressures of the season.

Realistically speaking, I should have anticipated Ella having problems adopting Wyatt when she: doesn't have a job, isn't married, and gave Wyatt up for adoption in the first place. But, I was wishfully thinking that Ella would be able to adopt Wyatt as well.

But, I'm glad that they were at least able to put Wyatt on an 'adoption pending' list until they can consider Ella "fit" to adopt Wyatt herself. Ella's heart keeps getting broken but, I hope that Sid will be there for Ella once again now that she has been denied adopting Wyatt.

As much as this probably hurt Ella, I hope that it does ultimately make her stronger and helps her get her life back on track so she gets a job an is seen as being 'more fit' to adopt Wyatt and hopefully Wyatt's heart stays strong.

That's so sad :( I'm so sad for Ella right now :( But hopefully Sid will help her through this ;) :) :) Loved it :) :) :) :D:D:D:P:P:P

I'm glad this update helped ease some of the tension between Ella and Sid after she got upset at him for coming home so late. I know Sid is afraid of chasing her off by making a move on her and Ella simply thinks that Sid is platonic with her but, something has to give in order to have one or the other make a move.

I loved just reading about the interaction between Sid, Ella, and Wyatt since it really did show them practically acting like a family despite the fact that Ella and Sid aren't together. I practically melted reading about how Sid and Wyatt reacted to each other.

I'm curious as to how things would change if Ella is allowed to adopt Wyatt since she lives with Sid and everything.
