Hello Lizzy! I'm going to start this comment off by saying that since you wrote this, I'm sure it's going to be fantastic. (:

In just the first chapter alone, you really established things well. I'm glad that you took the time to explain how Brendon and Frank have had problems in the past, and just talk about Frank's emotions in the whole thing. It's nice that you didn't just shove Gerard in the first chapter, unlike some stories.

Chapter Two: That was a classic moment, the whole Frank and Mikey flirting thing. I think it's cute that they were really good friends, although they weren't that close. The insight into their pasts was also a nice touch; I can kind of guess where Gerard's going to come in now.

Chapter Three: I love the whole flashback feeling, both at the start and once they got to Mikey's house. That last line was a cliffhanger as well, so thankfully I can just keep reading.

You know, I kinda feel like one of my one-shots was a rip off of this, just because of the whole remembering your past moments and stuff. :S

    Chapter Four: :o

That mural. That freaking mural. I can just imagine that moment perfect and the heartbreak Frank must have been feeling. I also applaud how you introduced his character without actually bringing him back yet. I'm really not sure why Gerard would leave Frank so cruelly though, especially since it's obvious from the flashbacks alone that he cared quite deeply for him. It's propelling me to read more. Nice use of the Demolition Lovers lyrics as well; they really made the mural seem just that more beautiful.

Chapter Five: The Love Sucks CD was perfect, and very nice choice of songs. Mr. Brightside is a freaking awesome song.
That moment at the start between Frank and Brendon on the phone kind of brings back the point of why Frank isn't happy. It's quite obvious that Brendon isn't exactly the world's greatest boyfriend after all.

    EEP! FUCKING EEP!

Learning To Fall and Thunder! Fuck. I cannot congratulate you enough for including those songs; they reflected the moment so well. And once again, nice ending to the chapter. Sometimes, ending a chapter with dialogue, especially a cliffhanger, can sound kind of awkward, but I think that worked very well.

Chapter Six: It was a nice touch that you switched to Gerard's POV, to let us see his side of things. I must admit, I wasn't expecting it, but it was still nice. And you always pick the best songs for the moments; Prelude by AFI was just such a perfect song. And once again, a cliffhanger! Jeez, you are freaking good at those.

Chapter Seven: That kiss on the rooftop was just... whoa. It was such a magical reuniting. I'm really getting kind of worried about how Frank is going to break it off with Brendon, especially since it's so obvious that he belongs with Gerard. I really hope it goes into their past a bit deeper in later chapters, but I'm sure I'll find out, won't I?

Chapter Eight: I'm glad you showed us how Frank met Brendon; your flashbacks are very effective, instead of irritating, because they actually help move the story along better.

    Forever. Times infinity. Times forever.

That line pretty well melted my heart. From it alone, it's clearly evident how much Frank and Gerard were in love, and it only makes me root for them more.

Chapter Nine: I'm actually glad that you didn't go through with that sex scene. I think it would have been a little too soon, especially since they just got reacquainted. I'm really worried about what's going to happen to Gerard if Frank does tell him about Brendon; they've both got emotional issues, and I think this is so far one of my favorite chapters actually. And that ending... what is in that envelope?

    Chapter Ten: :O

Oh my gosh, I think I'm going to cry. For some reason, that confession just hit me really hard; Gerard went through so much and he didn't abandon Frank at all. I wasn't expecting anything like that and it really makes more sense now.

Chapter Eleven: Their little gestures are the sweetest things ever. I'm so glad that Gerard was accepting of Frank still being with Brendon, but I have a feeling that not everything is going to be happiness from here on in.
EEP! You and your endings woman! I swear, you're lucky this story is already completed or I would beat you with a shoe for such cliffhangers.

Chapter Twelve: Mikey is such a sweet guy. There are quite a few similarities between him and Gerard. And who said that last line?

Chapter Thirteen: Whoa. Brendon sounds like he's a complete mess, but I really have no sympathy for him. I'm very proud of Frank for standing up for himself, and finally letting loose on Brendon. He completely deserved it. Those last words though... I do kind of feel sorry for him. You really are good at doing that, y'know?

Chapter Fourteen: That sex scene was so gorgeous and I rarely say that. But you could just tell that there was nothing but pure love behind it, which makes it entirely gorgeous in my book. But what mistake did Frank make?

Chapter Fifteen: Well, that makes me feel a bit better. I was afraid that he was going to go running back to Brendon. But..

That prick. Him breaking Pansy wasn't just heartless, it was childish. It really makes me dislike Brendon's character even more.

Chapter Sixteen: That was a good way to give us some more insight into Gerard and Frank's past, as well as some of their sweetest moments. Those birthday gifts were some of the sweetest I've ever heard of, although the Skittles thing is a bit cliche. (:

Chapter Seventeen: Y'know, I didn't even realize until this chapter that only a day or so had went by. You did a good job of packing so much into those few days and it didn't feel rushed at all.
All of those paintings were enough to nearly make me cry again. I can just picture each one in my head and they are simply gorgeous. Gerard's love for Frank is so evident in those paintings.

Chapter Eighteen: That whole moment with the paint made me giggle. I can only imagine what it must have looked like.

Chapter Nineteen: I'm not really sure what to say about this chapter, other than the fact it almost made me cry again. They really are the epitome of perfection and sweetness and it almost makes my head spin. They are the perfect couple and if only love was always like this, then I think the world would be perfect.

Chapter Twenty: What a sweet birthday; there's really not that many people in the world who would be willing to that for someone but it really just shows how deep the love between Frank and Gerard is. And that ending...

    Lizzy, I love you.

After reading every single chapter of that story, I am completely reminded of why you are one of my dearest people in the entire world. You are the absolute Queen of Frerard Fluff, without a fucking doubt. Your writing is gorgeous; even though you have evolved a bit since this was completed, it is without a doubt one of my all time favorites on Mibba.

This story completely captured what would be 'the perfect romance.' It makes my heart hurt that it isn't real, because that's something that is wrong with the world today; not enough people love each other like this. I'm amazed that this is based off of your real life, but I love it that much more so.

Those comments I made above feel insufficient to the overall beauty of this story. Words cannot describe how much I love this. I will admit that it made me tear up a few times, just from sheer happiness.

I absolutely love you and I am so honored to write with you and I am so glad you wrote something like this. I hope this comment made your day, because this story certainly, without a doubt made mine.

I saw the word "finale" and choked on my Diet Pepsi. Really, I did!

But... but... but... what about everything else? What about Alyssa? We never even got to meet her and find out if she's a bitch or not! :? What
about Gerard's alcoholism? What about Frank's damn parents? What about Shawn? What about... about... Gah!!

The word sequel is the only thing keeping me going right now because I'm totally devastated that you would end it so soon.

That said, it was a beautiful, happy, fluffy ending like only you can write. I swear, you write the best happy stories of anyone! And actually, I think
that writing happiness while keeping it interesting is far more difficult than writing angst and drama-filled stories, so that's to your credit.

Gerard Way is literally the hottest thing on the face of the earth.

Yes I have to agree with that statement. Yes

"Is that so?" I asked, stopping right in front of him, our lips literally centimeters away from each other's. I felt him lean in to kiss me, but I hurriedly
dropped to my knees and kissed the patch of skin that kept screaming for me to do naughty things to it.

Ahhh... That is unbearably hot. Nyam

"Any more of that, and your presents are going to have to fucking wait, because I'm about to fuck the hell out of you," he said, panting heavily.

As much as I love presents (and God knows I do!), I think I'd be willing to wait. ;)

We heard the elevator make a "ding" sound, signifying that it was finally here but he never broke the hold he had on me. He backed me up into the
elevator, completely unaware of where we were going or if we were going to bump into anyone.

Oh, what I wouldn't give to have been in that elevator!! *giggle*

"Shut up, Frank. We've done this before, and you know the rule. If you whine, you don't get the surprise."

    :lmfao

I jumped up in my seat, and took off the blindfold. My hand clamped over my mouth when I saw the Jersey shore crashing outside.

"Frankieee..." he whined, sad that I ruined the 'surprise'.

I hate it when people figure out my surprises beforehand. In this case, though, it's pretty cool. It shows that neither of them have forgotten.

He was right. It was damn perfect. This cake, is the exact same Nightmare Before Christmas cake he had picked out for me when I turned seventeen,
    exact wording and everything.

Too cute. :P I love how thoughtful Gerard is. And I love how you took all of the little events that you described to us throughout the course of the
story and tied them all back into the final chapter. It's really brilliantly crafted.

He broke away from me for a brief second, and nodded towards Mikey. Mikey nodded back and quickly stood up,

I also love that Mikey is so happy for them. He's not whining that they shouldn't be romantic in front of him like he does in so many stories, he's
happy that they're happy because he loves them both. Thank you for that.

"You playing on top of me is fucking perfect," Gerard giggled from below me.

And I giggled from where I'm sitting. *giggle*

"I knew you loved playing it at the store, so I figured it'd be perfect. And I gave him our sweet employee discount, too," Mikey said proudly.

I love how Mikey's all proud of himself. Too cute!! :cute:

Mikey raised his eyebrow at his brother, and Gerard blushed and smiled. "Sure, Mikey! Call you later! Thanks for helping!"

    Hee-hee. Mikey knows, doesn't he? I didn't realize it until I re-read the chapter.

"Okay, I got one. But forgive my singing, you know it isn't anywhere near as good as yours," I said, giggling. I cleared my throat and began to play my
    favorite song by The Cure.

Yay for The Cure any time. *happy sigh* It's not quite as good as the version of "Just Like Heaven" Gerard makes up for Frank in Eyelash
    Wishes
, but pretty damn close. Tongue

"Keep playing me my favorite Cure song, and I'll show you how it can get so much better..." he mumbled, his face still buried in my neck. He kissed my
neck softly and I gladly continued.

Awwww... they have the same favorite Cure song. :cute:

"Oh, it's nothing big... it's quite small, actually," he replied, repositioning himself on the blanket in front of me. If I didn't know any better, it looked like he
was getting down on one knee...

That made me laugh. And, of course, getting engaged is the perfect ending for this story about them finding one another again.

"The stars are extra pretty tonight, Frankie...."

"I know why..." I whispered, leaning my chin up on his chest, looking straight in his eyes.

"Why, baby?" he asked, continuing to stroke my hair.

"Because they shine for us, Gerard. Me and you. I don't want to live like Jack and Sally. I want to live like me and you. Frankie and Gee, Frank and Gerard,
just like we always dreamed..." I answered him, crashing my lips to his.

That part actually made me tear up. It's really, truly, incredibly beautiful. Cry

Clean Me Off... What a beautiful chapter. We finally get some insight into what's been going on with Gerard. And I loved the symbolism you used!

After having quite possibly the best sex ever,

Just because someone finally let you "top." :lmfao

I was patiently awaiting the answer to the question about the guy from last night that begged to be answered. It was killing me, I needed to know...

I'm surprised that you didn't ask before now, actually. I would've. I mean, he obviously wasn't a threat and Gerard didn't feel tied to him, but still...

We met, and he just... became obsessed with me. Since I couldn't have you, I figured the best thing to do was to try my hardest to forget you, Frank... so I continued to see Shaun,

Because finding someone you love and finding someone who loves you are SO not the same thing. No

That's when I... became an alcoholic," Gerard admitted, leaning his head hard against the wall.

Ouch. Sounds like you have some tough times ahead of you, Frank.

Those last few words were extremely hard for me to hear. It killed me that I did this to him, that this was all my fault.

But that attitude is not going to help you get through it! There is no way that this is your fault. You thought Gerard had abandoned you. How could you have known any differently? You didn't make him turn to alcohol to cope. That was his decision and his alone. There is no blame to be laid, there are just consequences to be dealt with. The sooner you come to that realization the more help you'll be for Gerard. While you're busy with self-flagellation, you can't see the help he needs, so suck it up and knock it off.

"Not too long after that, I realized that none of this was your fault. I wasn't angry at you anymore, but I was furious as fuck with myself for being such a fucking coward and not fighting for you. I gave up on you, Frank, I gave up on us. I was on this downward spiral, and my self-hatred for giving up on you made it easier for me to believe all the things Shaun was telling me. Living just became so hard to do, so...

And obviously you both have issues with simply accepting things as they are without finding someone to blame (usually yourself). That can be a really bad combination. I hope one of you can figure it out or it only spells trouble for your future together.

He interrupted me this time, kissing me just as hard as I kissed him earlier. It wasn't a needy kiss, or a desperate kiss... or maybe it was. All I know is it was beautiful, and showed me everything I needed to know that we were finally going to be okay.

    I like that. A lot. :)

"We have two bathrooms, but only one shower. So..."

Psh. 'Cause that's going to be a problem for you.

I giggled, and gently began to scrub his arms, his back, his ass... everywhere. But it wasn't in a sexual way, it was very sweet. I felt like I was washing away all the bad things, making them all go down the drain along with our pasts. I was determined to never look back, and with Gerard by my side... the future seemed bright and hopeful.

I absolutely love the symbolism in this. *sigh* It just made me happy. I can envision all the bright colors washing from their bodies, then swirling together and mixing to a muddy blackish color, but then being washed down the drain, leaving them clean and naked together.

    Wow.
    Just... wow!
I really don't know how to sum it up, it was just amazing start to finish, and even then that doesn't do it justice!
I only just found this by chance on the last chapter and I read it all and it's simply perfect

The smallest details where what made it so good for me like Gee wearing Franks belt and the naked painting =p

I, did however, particularly love the birthday parts which where mostly the same, it showed true commitiment to each other. And it's nice to finally read a story which has a 'fluffy' ending which isn't completely cheesey.

Although now you have one very impatient fan who can't wait for the sequel.

This is probably, if not the best Frerard i've read and I really hope you continue to write more in a sequel.

I found myself crying, smiling, laughing and so many other emotions throughout this story. And if I wasn't doing any of those I was saying 'awe' out loud.

Your an amazing author and i'll be waiting for more.
Oh, and i'm subscrbing even though it's over so let us know about the sequel!
