I really enjoyed this short story. I love the way you wrote her background by giving exact dates and very brief explanations. There were a few grammar and spelling mistakes that I was itching to fix, but it was easy to ignore them because the plot completely envelops the reader, or at least it did with me. It takes cliche to a beautiful level and I loved reading it.

This was so sad at the beginning, but the ending was really sweet. I like your writing style; it seems like it's being told in the form of a diary, making references to people in her past briefly. Did I mention that it was sweet? Elijah's awesome.
