I never said it was illegal, I already said that there is nothing wrong with it, that it just reminded me of the other story. And I read stories here, even when I had my previous and forgotten account, which is now probably inactive, and I used to write down what I wanted to say as a 'random stranger', as I do not know the authors of the stories I read here personally, but yes, I would probably be annoyed as well if I am in your position. Also, I had already said that I am not against you, I think that you are a good writer and I had no intention on comparing your work with the other simply because I do not have the right, I only stated what I think are the too-many similarities, as you had asked. And I only noticed, probably because the other story was still fresh in my mind while I was reading yours, that it honestly sounded copied/rephrased to me. But yes, I could also see the differences. That is all I have to say to end this discussion. Thank you for your time.

Like I said,

I had already planned for Alex's description. I always made my male characters with messy features. Is that something bad? Check my other story as well. The character's description is pretty messed up as well.

Plus I could barely remember the scenes I've read from VirulentValentine's story. She's a friend of mine, actually, although not personally, so why would I copy from her? It would be too obvious if I did, since she is my friend here and at facebook.

I admire her as an author because she is truly better than I am, but that doesn't mean that I have resorted to plagiarism. We are both unique in our writing, and are very different.

It's purely coincidental, I swear and I am not lying about it, believe me or not.

The ending, I agree, is similar, but that my has already been planned, like I said. Just cause I've read her story too, that doesn't mean I copied it.

So, just cause she's already used that "holding hand then stated some things to comfort the female" is used, I'm not allowed to use it? Come on.

I don't get why you must compare our works.

My other readers have also read Virulent's work, and none of them - EXCEPT FOR YOU - have stated that I plagiarized. Do you have something against me or anything?

I mean, seriously, I don't get it. Some random stranger just clicks on my profile and points out that I plagiarized someone else's work. If that were to happen to you, wouldn't you be annoyed?

My apologies if my opinion had offended you. It just came to me when you started putting songs on your chapters, and with the blue eyes-and-messy-hair description of Alex, NOT that there's anything wrong with it, it just instantly reminded me of the other story, and that's when I began to notice the similarities. Well, here are some resemblances noticed, as you had told me to state. i randomly clicked on some chapters on your story and on the other author's, and I don't have the time to skim through every page, so here's a few:

from yours:
'WHY THE HELL IS ALEX ON MY BED? AND WHERE THE HELL IS JOSHUA?'

from Valentine's:
'...wait wait wait...

...WHY IS SKY SLEEPING IN MY BEDROOM?!?'

-they were both in the same bed, but they didn't sleep with each other.

from yours:
'I learned to cherish the present…

And learned to accept the past.

We will definitely meet again.'

from Valentine's:
'...leaving only memories of our yesterday.'

'...I believe in what he said.

We'll meet again.

Someday.'

-both stated on the last part of a chapter.

from yours:
'...turned into a reddish shade of extremely ripe tomatoes.'

from Valentine's:
‘…he shouted, his face turning red like a freshly harvested tomato.’

-I guess that was acceptable, since the comparing of cheeks and tomatoes isn’t that unusual.

from yours:
-Horror Movie
'I looked at my palm, remembering the way he’d held my hand the entire movie. Blood rushed to my face again.'

from Valentine's:
-Haunted House
'Sky didn’t remove his hand from mine the whole time we were inside the horror house, and I had to scream and hug him a few times out of fright...'

-the male and female protagonists both held hands in the chapters, and the male had stated some things concerning about comforting the female.

I maybe wrong. Again, you can speak out your defense. I am not a close-minded person, and I am, again, just stating my own opinion.

I am confident that I did not steal / plagiarize ideas from other authors. This was already drafted / planned last year. I respect your opinion though.

To be honest hun, it seems to me that you are plagiarising "I Can't Believe You Just Made My Stupid, Cryptic Heart Fall For You" by VirulentValentine., if plagiarising is the appropriate term for it. Not the whole plot, but several of its elements and metaphors seemed stolen from that story, which were specifically shown in your last chapter. I am pretty positive you have read the said story, because after I had finished it, I saw your comment posted in there, and I randomly clicked on your stories section and tried to read your work. Personally, I think there are just too much similarities. Too much for a 'coincidence'. I would be willing to point out some more of those 'similarities' if you want. Basically, I think you are stealing the other author's ideas, which is considered plagiarism.

Or maybe that is just me. I am not against you nor trying to bring you down, I am merely stating my opinion on this one. You can prove me wrong.

I liked the way you write; the details that needed to be in the story were written quite well, but honestly...you do know that plagiarising isn't allowed, don't you?

Pardon me if my critism turned out offensive, I just want to get it out of my head.
