I got so confused when I saw an update for this story on my phone. I was like "I don't remember this at all" and the layout was different and everything. But on the bright side I'm on a computer and got totally pschyed when I noticed that you updated. Soo people thing Cupcake Jake slept with Cara. I love the rumors that are going around.

Yeah I get what you mean. Maybe you should just put it on hold and wait until you get some inspiration. It's a good story, but if you're not feeling it then you're not gonna like what you write, thus leading to you never updating. Same thing happened to me on one of my stories and I deleted it which I think is a mistake now. I know now that once I pushed that delete button it was bye bye story for good. If i would have just kept it up I probably would have finished it, but now I think what's the point. So, yeah this is long but basically my advice is don't delete, kept it up but just move on from now and wait for ideas.

Oh Jacob, he makes me laugh. He seems like the those obnoxious boys at my school. If I could read their minds, they would probably sound like Jacob. But of course, it's just me.
Also, I like the fact that you write in present tense. Not many people do that. Actually, it's just me who's stink at writing in present tense.

I really like how you've started the story out with a boy getting in trouble with the law. It's like something off of a movie, I love it! Jake's personality is hilarious, he doesn't seem all that nervous about much and he tends to go with the flow, that much I can see - well, with the exception of his step dad.

That's something you always see. A parent that doesn't want to be alone so they marry someone else - or in this case, have a kid first - and the oldest one gets upset. I can understand he's upset, who wouldn't be? I wouldn't worry too much about his step dad though if I were him for the simple fact that if I don't like someone, I just...don't care what they'll say.

I think I'm basing this comment off of Jake because I really like his character and the laid back way you've portrayed him. He seems to be the highlight of the whole thing for me, or he would be if I had time to read the rest. He's like any other teen struggling with everyday issues at home, and with the law. I think you did a great job here, seriously. I think he's got to be one of the best people I've read about in a while.
