I really hope Mel is ready to forgive - or at least making the attempt. But I think she should insist that they both sit down and be honest about their feelings - and that she will NOT put up with any more funny business.

Not sure how I feel about this chapter. I keep thinking that they have made progress, but I almost think that Melinda has taken steps backwards. While she can admit that she probably loves him, she is comparing the marriage to a childhood charade. And by the end, she doesnt care about what Jon wants - and makes reference to them not actually talking.

I know it takes babysteps, and maybe Jon needs to say something to help Melinda, but at some point she has to admit her feelings and take a chance again.

I just hope the walls come down soon!

I really liked this chapter. Especially the part about loving the area just before the country side. It really is the best place to grow up, to live. I couldn't tell you how many days I woke up to the neighborhood kids playing hockey or a baseball practice across the street from my house. It doesn't get any better than that. Anyway, lol, excellent writing as always. Can't wait to see how it all plays out. I kind of want the moms to find out about Jon's indiscretion. But maybe I'm just cruel. ;)

I guess I was hoping that she would miss him so much while he was in Europe that she would make a big declaration. I know the trust issue is a huge one - and going past that bedroom must be agony for Melinda - but maybe if Jon suggested some type of a change might help. I realize that he couldnt sleep in there for the longest time and that he changed all the bedding - but Melinda doesnt know that happened - and I think he should tell her.

It is going to take something big on Jon's part to help Melinda get over the hurdle - she wont forget what he did, but he has to help her get passed the pain and mistrust.

Great update once again. They are slowly making their way back to each other.

Things are getting better. Hopefully things will keep moving in this direction. Can't wait for the next update! :)

You could definitely feel the emotion in this chapter. Both Mel and Jon wanting to say things - but being afraid to bridge the gap. But it does appear that Melinda is finally starting to move towards Jon, and starting to reveal her true feelings. She couldnt tell him she loved him, but at least she could admit it to herself.

i think they are going to be ok. i mean she put the ring back on and all that stuff by the bus i believe was her really starting to forgive him for it. No she shouldn't forget but he is truely sorry and has tried to show it a number of times and i think that she should forgive but not forget
