The preface didn't tell me much, but I really enjoyed the first chapter.
I can't wait to see where this goes because I'm super interested. :)

Wow, the preface, sure it was short, and honestly, didn't make much sense to me, but that's okay.
Chapter one made up for it! I really enjoyed this, this is pretty much amazing.
    Hehe.

    Thank you, Film Fetish. <3

Really, guys. Prefaces don't have to be long. They're just supposed to give you a small idea of what's to come. They shouldn't tell you what the whole story is about, just the very most important part is.

Thank you for the comments, though. Chapter one will be up soon, probably in a couple of hours.

Prefaces can be short, guys. Actually, the majority of them are.

... I liked it. I thought it conveyed the general tone of the story quite well, and it did in fact give the reader an idea, if not a vague one, of what is to come.

    I agree with silk tea.

The preface was quite short, and it's hard to get into a story without more than that.

I agree with silk tea. The preface was short, so it was hard to get anything from it. You might want to have the preface be the summary and write something longer to replace the preface.

Okay, so I pretty much second the comment above.
I was also reminded of small, dancing animals.
It sounds interesting, for sure, but I can't say much more until there's a second chapter.

    o.o
Okay; just gotta say Alexander Bernadotte's comment was read about five times over, by me. xD It stalled this comment. So sorry.
Any ways; the description kinda made me giggle, for some reason, but it was still good. Sorry if this isn't comedy. O.- /I'd feel like a complete beyotch/
Chapter one was all a bit short - or was it the prologe, dammit?! -twitch-
xD I'm looking forward to more, either way.

The preface was like four sentences.
I really didn't get much out of it.
I have no idea what this story is about you know?

OKAY. WANT THE HONEST TRUTH?! Cottage in the woods made me think of Sleeping Beauty and Snow White and cute little woodland creatures who help you with the laundry and dry your tears when you're sad.
I like Travis. I do. I like how you based him on Mr. McSexy, Taylor Lautner <3
I also love our AIM conversations. YOU BETTER UPDATE THIS SOON AND COME ON MIBBA MORE OFTEN :]
