Madeline I fucking...*lowers voice* I fucking swear. I WAITED 5 YEARS FOR THESE TWO MONTHS. I REFUSE TO FORGET, MADELINE.
this update had me like
(i was a duck & you were a bread crumb [reference to your new story]) +
(the poll = my emotions, the people = your update)
ps this is kind of off topic: you know how I said I'll just picture Older Brendon when I read this? I always thought he looked like Marlon Brando (Theo James has a bit of a stronger resemblance) so since I officially have a 'type' I'll insert this lovely gif of my husband.
pps: i cleaned up my username to comment on this, haha. It suits my avatar really well, methinks. Welcome back, old friend (I'm talking to The Summer House, but welcome to you too!) x
This story is amazing! I love how Madeline and Brendon's relationship wasn't quick and it grew. And all the little things between them. Plus you write brilliantly! I'm looking forward to the next update! =)
For the past few weeks I've been searching for a good Brendon fic. It's been difficult, I've stumbled upon so much crap and then I found 'The Summer House'.
I fell in love. You had me at the first line. I read all 13 chapters in two days and I'm dying for more. I love how the relationship between Brendon and Madeline develops slowly, I love how they understand each other, I love their first kiss.
I absolutely hate the thought of Madeline leaving.
I realize that the last update has been posted a while ago but I truly hope you update soon. You really know how to develop a story and keep the reader interested. Do update when you can. :] <3
La-la-la-love itttt. You're an amazing writer. One of my favorite paragraphs was A spill of orange and lavender colored the sky - a parting gift from the setting sun. With every passing minute the shadows lengthened and the water sparkled in more enchanting tones. The evening song of crickets played the soundtrack to our evening as Brendon and I sat on the edge of the cool dock. It's so descriptive and enchanting. Can't wait for the next update :]]
