woah, this chapter was amazing. i kind of started to cry at the very last sentence!

I laughed so hard... well, first I was upset because John is being a jerk. You wait all this time to be with the girl you love only to be like, "oh, well, I wanna sleep around on tour." BUT I got Garrett!!!
I love the way you wrote me, and the whole “we’ve got the cute thing where she fits right under my chin. It’s sort of adorable,” line made me smile so big. I think Garrett and Amy will have a very happy, loving, albeit extremely sexually active relationship.
But, even though I got to be in the chapter, I loved the valedictorian speech. I love that she kind of threw it back in John's face by talking about how great my boo is, and then using John's lyrics. This chapter made me really happy. I love that Maddie thinks I'm cute. Yay! But I think Maddie's gonna realize that she kind of put her all her eggs in one basket for John. If he wants her, then it shouldn't matter if they're apart.

Oh Maddie, Maddie, Maddie.... how I love her so... yet - I'm still nervous. The next one is it!?!?! It's all over?!?!

YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME WITH HER GOING TO COLLEGE! YOU JUST CAN'T! I WON'T ALLOW IT. I need to know her and John get married and have babies. I need all of that!

So I have to say, Garrett deserved to be recognized in her speech. He was ALWAYS there for her. Even after everything that happened between them, he was still there for her.
The quote at the end just seemed so perfect.
I wanna know how this story ends and what happens with John!!

I love that her father referred to Pat as "that small, weird one that needs to cut his hair." I have to say that I was surprised that Garrett came to visit her in the hospital, but I'm glad he did. I have a bad feeling about why John was avoiding the conversation at the end though.
