NOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! her parents can't do that! omg i'd be soo angry with them, too! argh! >:[ But, yeah, again, do what you want to do with your story, not what wants everyone else wants. I'm glad you're actually making it realistic, too, because you just don't get over things like that so quickly. I mean, jeesh! She was mentally, emotionally, and physically scarred! That's not something you get over quickly. I'm with you every step of the way with this book and the sequel!
o jizzzness!!!! she cant leave blake :( shes gunna leave and get all happy again...then she wont love blake anymore, or as much as she used too, then blakes gunna be sad!!!! ohh im making myself sad!!!!!!!! I cant wait to see what happens...even though if it makes me sad!
Sorry i didn't comment last time, my computer got all infected and wouldn't work, but it's fixed now! :D Anyways, I really am loving this. I think it's good how you're making her recovery slow (i'm sad to say that i think i've been one of the people to write about them recovering after a few days) :( I did change characters slightly though :) Oh, and i love the idea about taking her to the rehab place, because i think it's a great way to go into a sequal hehe Can't wait for more :)
YES! Thank you! I am not pissed at you at all! Because it's true! You can't just bounce back from such a thing! I know people who were sexually assaulted years ago and STILL haven't completely gotten over it! I feel like people take these things too easily. It's horrible. So I think what your doing is right. I think it's good that you're sending her away(: You're doing a fantastic job on this story(:
I don't like how some of the comments say Farrah is acting wrong (or something close to that). I understand rape is a hard thing to go through, and they shouldn't just expect Farrah to be accepting of the incident. I have personally never been raped, but I know someone who did. Although the perpetrator wasn't someone my friend know, after her rape she didn't want anyone to touch her; not even her friends or family. When reading a story like this, readers should be more open minded of the victims feelings. I read a few comments above that upset me. Farrah was not being close minded. The incident was still fresh in her mind. Imagine being in her place. If someone promised to protect you forever, and you tell that person you feel threatened by someone and they did nothing to make you feel comfortable resulting in you getting harmed, for example, you wouldn't trust that person. You expected them to be there and they weren't. Although I do feel bad for Blake, I wish he would have listened to her. Besides, Farrah isn't close minded. The person(s) who says she is close minded is being close minded themselves.
I love this story. Simply amazing. Although there are a few minor grammatical errors (you're and your) it's still amazing.
I wasn't trying to be mean with my comments. I'm just giving out constructive criticism.
I agree with you about sexual assault and victims. Most rape stories on mibba are based on what writers think the victims act like, and most of the authors' descriptions of the rape victims are completely wrong. They make rape seem like something you could easily get over, but it's not. I'm so glad someone finally created a realistic character who didn't immediately bounce back from being raped after two seconds and suddenly acting like whore (a lot of the stories that mentioned rape, their characters bounce back as if the rape never happened and the characters start acting and dressing like sluts). Although I do believe writing is about letting your mind be free with your imagination, it should still be realistic in some sense.
I really love this story yet I think she acts a little to young for her age...I think of ger as like a 10 year old but whatever lol I still love it!!!!! Keep it up
you have made my day! And i dont see a reason to be mad at you because i like the fact that she dosent bounce back., like in alot of other stories, because that dosenĀ“t really happen. The only sad thing is she is going to leave Blake :(
