A bit behind the 8 ball on this, but someone recommended Fearing Death to me yesterday and I have to say I loved it so much I finished both in the last 36 hours, despite finals. ;) Such a different take on a Jon T. story. And being from IL/Chicagoland (not to mention Washington D.C. is near and dear to my heart...), I loved some of the details of Navy Pier and Chicago and the fact she went to Georgetown. Just so much love for this story. :)

I just read both of these stories all the way through in one sitting. This was the first family-oriented story I've ever read on here, and I love it. So much. I know this has probably been completed for a while, but bravo. Excellent job.

I don't really know what to say. This is easily my favorite Jonathan Toews fanfiction ever. I wish it could have gone on forever. I even cried when I finished it. Excellent job.You should be extremely proud of this.

Ahhhh the tears! It was so perfect<3 I love that Jon and Amy had babbbies, and that Jord and Tyler are together, and that prince max is a lazy ass, and just everything was so perfect. I seriously cannot believe how far this story has come, you did such a brilliant job:)

Oh god I don't want it to end. It makes me sad to think that this story is over. It was one of my faves. I'm sure I'll fall in love with something else you write :) Awesome job on this and Fearing Death, both very well written.

OMG AWWWWW!!! I LOVED the epilogue. it was so unbelievably cute. now I'm really sad that they're over :( two best stories I've ever read. seriously, amazing. oh well I'll just have to keep them book marked so I can go back reread them over and over lol. :D

omg i was slightly teary-eyed at the end. jordyn is surrounded by so much love, and she totally deserves it. and i laughed out loud when jon told kaner "“Cut it out, dipshit, I know!”" So funny.

Jon caught Jordyn up in his arms, hugging her tightly as his eyes drifted shut, remembering the day he sent her off to Georgetown University in Washington DC.

“Hi Mom.” She smiled happily, “where are thing one and thing two?” Jordyn asked, “where are my babies?” She added.

“Don’t worry, princess, I got you stuff too.” She laughed as he reached back to give her knee a squeeze.

Mikey was older than his brother by two minutes, and younger than his big sister by almost seventeen years. “Hi!” He shouted, giggling wildly as she squeezed him again.
lol that is a pretty big age difference but it's cool. it's casual. it's how the toews family rolls

“You’re home!” He smiled as she carried him into the family room where Patrick and Bryan were laying on the floor, working on a four-piece puzzle.
lol those four piece puzzles are hard.. i wonder if that's too much for patty kane. forever lolling

“Eh? Do you think so, eh?” Tyler laughed, the years of Jon’s accent rubbing off on her that her friends up at school loved to give her crap for.

Tyler sighed, reaching down to capture her hand within his, twirling the ring around her small ring finger. “I’m surprised Amy didn’t notice.” He remarked, “I thought she would.”

“Cut it out, dipshit, I know!” Jon insisted, smacking Kaner upside the head. Some things never changed.

“Babe, you want me to grab some of the food out of the – what is that?” Jon asked, his demeanor switching from sweet puppy to guard dog in a split second. Jordyn took in a deep breath before getting out of her seat.

“You know I like Tyler, Jordyn, I like him more than any of the other guys you’ve dated. But that doesn’t change a thing, you let me know the second he messes up – I’ll break both of his knee caps.”
