Never Look Back - Comments

I can't believe that this story is over! I loved every single part of it and it certainly didn't fail in holding up the integrity that Fearing Death presented. Your writing is simply amazing and, in my opinion, you never fail to convey strong emotion and depth in your works. This story was just another example of that. Really, you have talent.
Overall, I think that Never Look Back did what every sequel is supposed to do. It didn't just elaborate or embellish the story set by the first installment (which many sequels sometimes make the mistake of doing) but, rather, it built upon what was established in Fearing Death and offered something different. In case my comment isn't long enough yet, I'm going to add in a quote from Suzanne Fisher Staples that I really loved: "A book should help us to 'see into' a story that is going on before we open the book and continues after the cover is closed. This kind of story more closely resembles real life than the kind of story that has all of the details tied up neatly at the end."
In a way, I really believe that your stories and this particular sequel are prime examples of what she was talking about. I just thought that was worth mentioning (:
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to reading the epilogue and your future works!

I'm so sad to see this end. The prequel of this was actually the very first story I started reading on mibba! I'm looking forward to the epilogue, just to see how it all turned out, but honestly, I love this entire series, and I'm really sad to see it go. You did an amazing job on it.
