Okay, so I'm already hooked and I haven't even started yet. The layout is just so beautiful and skfjsdkljflskfjlsak. Yeah, that pretty sums up what I think of this so far :3 Onto the actual review~

Chapter 1: I love how you started this, talking about the heart rate increase and all of that good ol' medical junk that school shoves in our minds. Some of us aren't going to become doctors, y'know >.> Ahem. Anyways, the uniqueness of this story really shows, especially when it has to do about human anatomy + love, which I find totally fascinating and adorable. This whole chapter, describing how Asher - I read the other comments here and found his name, wee! - reacts to seeing Darcy is just...unf. I'm in love with this already. <3

I'm pissed off right now because I can't continue on reading this masterpiece and leave you a massive love comment describing my massive love for this. Gahhh. :c But I'll sub to this and I'll hurry back and read this when I can. You've done a lovely, lovely job so far and I'm complete engrossed in this. Can't wait to read more! <3333

I really love your layout, the backgrounds, banner and font just match together perfectly. NOW I GET WHAT THE TITLE IS ABOUT. Honestly, when I saw the title, I was expecting this sort of gothic looking horror story, but to my surprise, I saw what looked like a light romance :) I like how you incorporated the body stuff into a quote, it's intriguing and definitely makes me want to read more. :3

Um, so I just love your descriptions so much. They took my breath away, literally. You're an amazing writer, your sentences flow with such ease and especially when you're describing the body parts and their function, I like how it links in with the title. :D So yeah, I just love it. And Darcy sounds like an intriguing character. :D I love your choice of words, it's elegant and sophisticated and I like the contrasts you have in the sentences. It's a mixture between long and short sentences which is a nice contrast. :3

I just want you to know that I love Asher, and I love this story, and I love you.

First off, the layout is so pretty. And the way you've just got "to be human" as the chapter title for every chapter is really, really striking.

The story is really well-paced. It's not moving very quickly, but it's a nice, gentle pace.

I really like the first chapter, it's an interesting way to introduce us to the story. Your description is lovely and Asher has a distinctive voice. Whilst we don't really know much about his character yet, I get a sense of who is just from the way he describes things.

Gah, what do you mean she wasn't coming back?! Haha, sorry just had to get that out for some reason :)

This is not often the type of story I would stop to read. But now that I have I am glad I did.

What I like about your story is that while the overall idea is old the way you present it is new and I'm impressed. I found myself hooked around chapter 2. Your very first one could do with some tweaking. It was intresting but not enough that I would have come back if I had stopped right there.

Anyway very good job I give it two thumbs up. Keep up the good work.

Gah, I love this so much. :D The way you describe everything is so lovely, and the opening chapter was just absolutely perfect. I found it amazing how you tied science into it and actually had it relate to the story.
Asher seems like such an interesting fella, the way you've given him this interesting narrator voice, and I'm also starting to like Darcy. I'm really curious as to what happened to make her fade. Keep it up - this is amazing. :)

This is an adorable story. I love the science-y descriptions in chapter one (though usually science is not my forte.) The character of Asher is intriguing! I haven't read all of it, but he is an amazing character--makes me want to know how he screwed up so badly! :P And I know girls like Darcy--they are annoying--but you depicted her perfectly. :) Keep up the awesome work.

The brain has to be the human body’s most mysterious organ. It learns. It changes. It adapts. It tells us what we see. What we hear. It lets us feel love. I think it holds our soul. And no matter how much research we do, no one can really say how all that delicate gray matter inside our skull works. And when it’s hurt, when the human brain is traumatized, well, that’s when it gets even more mysterious.

You said this was a quote, right? Well, since you didn't write it but it's so poetic that it seems like you did, I might suggest you do the following:

I think it's cute too that Asher gets Human Anatomy and Darcy doesn't it's weird, and an interesting take on it! I really can't wait to see what they do on their little 'not date' haha. Great update!

I already don't like Holland. I really hope he's not going to get in the way of Asher, and Darcy. He better not, I'm serious. I really like Asher, he has that personality, you know? The one that's really appeasing to girls. Like cocky, I guess. I like it.

I love Asher and how observant he is.
I can't manage to express my feelings towards this story, cause it's so FRICKIN AMAZING.
I'm just blown away. I can't count the number of things I enjoyed in this chapter, and the plot in general.
All I can say is you're talented, and i'm hooked.
