I love how I feel for your characters. Like, I love how you manage to write it so I actually sympathize with them. I seriously feel horrible for Burke and his childhood! Emma's annoying me now, though. I want her to just take Burke into her arms and kiss him, at least. But I may be jumping the gun here... I'm going to assume you have it planned out. :D
