Just read the whole story. Took me a few hours but I couldn't turn away. I'm having a baby boy too so it made me all clucky lol! This was a great story but I'm dying for a sequel! Go Zack for finally coming around. I would have had to kick his ass if he didn't. <3

Oh my goodness! I loved this story so much! I used to read these types of stories when I was 14 and 15, and I recently got back into it. I swear this is one of the best I've ever read. You are so talented in writing and I plan on reading the rest of your stuff (which I usually do not do, I just go through a list of searches and keep myself quiet unless I REALLY love something, haha.) I would love to see what you could do with a sequel! You are an amazing writer!

I never get tired of reading this story. I love it so much.

(Ch. thirty-six) Oh, typical young father saying he's doing/following his dream for the benefit of his girlfriend and kid. Zack and Kaitlin's conversation is all too real to me. I'm torn between seeing Zack leave for tour and making him stay with Kaitlin! And is Kaitlin implicitly giving Zack an ultimatum; either stay and be a dad or leave and never see your kid? I'm hoping it's just her passions at a high and not how she really sees it.
(Ch. thirty-seven) I love how Kaitlin doesn't give Zack an answer when he asks her to come by Matt's. She's pissed! The part where she begins analyzing and looking back at herself adds a dimension to the story. Wow, that flashback had me believing Zack was a jerk! Uhm, Avery's suggestions kinda bother me. She reenforces (on a small scale) patriarchal ideology; a woman has to wait on a man, shallow thinking. But I do agree that Kaitlin should avoid being completely miserable. I love how Zack's first concern is Ethan. Oh jeez, great story! I enjoyed sitting at my computer and watching it develop gradually. Good luck with your other endeavors!

All the emotions D':'D I had to do my hardest not to cry and still I ended up with tears in my eyes. This was just so… perfect.

I’ve been worrying myself with the fact that you could end this story with them not together - I mean, I’ve witnessed the originality of this, so it wouldn’t surprise me. But, although I’m sure it would have been equally beautiful if she never showed up, I can’t say I’m not happy with the outcome you opted for. I know Kaitlin probably still doesn’t understand it, still finds it to be unfair, but I think she had to do it or else she would forever question how things would have been if she had offered him a chance to prove himself. Besides, no matter how unfair it is for Kaitlin, Ethan needs the father and let’s be honest here, there aren’t many teenage fathers ready to assume the responsibility over the child. Old Zacky wouldn’t have cared the slightest. ---> and talking about that; one of the things that made me tear up was the memory of the Old Zacky. I still can’t believe of how much he changed. New Zacky is so similar and yet so different from the old one and the thought is fascinating. And you wanna know what I loved about his change? How it was gradual, not rushed like it happens with many stories. So, yeah, congrats for being so amazing you’re able to make such believable characters :’3

Oh man, I love this so much. That last part of the goodbye was so incredibly beautiful :,} I just… stop being perfect, dammit! This story couldn’t have a better title, I swear. Have I ever told you how much I love your writing? How marvelous this whole thing is? No? Then… I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! Don’t end it D’:

I can't believe it's almost over. I hope they live happily ever after, they make such a cute couple. It was nice to know how they end up together at the party.

I'm glad that Kaitlin went and said goodbye to Zacky in the end. It will be hard for her to be apart from him for a year but she'll willing to wait for him. :)

what a great ending! i freakin loved it. yay!

I have small tears in my eyes because the ending was so perfect. I was genuinely worried for a long while there, but I'm glad that she came around in the end. =') It's just... *sigh* I know there will probably be issues and such for them in the future, but for now, everything is perfect.

Can't wait for that epilogue. ^_^

I'm not bashing Zacky or anything but I am on Kaitlin's side because she is going to be taking care of their baby all alone while he is away on months end having the time of his life, living his dreams he has had since he was a kid. Kaitlin's doesn't want to be the bad guy because she can clearly see that music is Zacky's life but now that their child is here, he has take responsibility for his actions. A lot of things could wrong while on tour and he won't be able to do anything because he is across the country. Hopefully he doesn't fuck things up that'll damage his relationship with Kaitlin and Ethan. I look forward to the next update!

Well, they certainly haven't made much progress on how they're going to deal with Ethan and the tour! But I can't say I blame them. It's a very difficult situation, one which I can see and agree with both sides... so I don't even know what the best option is.

Whilst I agree with Kaitlin that her son deserves a full time father, I can't help but feel sorry for Zacky, who also deserves to give his music career a chance. I'm not saying he's more deserving of his dreams than she is, but unfortunately that's the way it generally is... a mother is more often than not the one who sacrifices the most to raise a child. That's not to say she can't pursue her dreams in the future, but to be fair, this is probably Zacky's only chance to ever make his come true.

And to be honest, if he gives up his chance to make it with the band so he's more than just a "part-time parent", he'll unfortunately end up bitter and will probably resent her for making him make that choice. Now I'm not saying she's making him, but in the long run, he'll feel that she did, but suggesting that he can't see Ethan if he goes on tour. In my opinion, a part-time loving and caring father is way better than no father... or one that's there and unconsciously resents his existence. What child wants that?

Anyways, looking forward to seeing how it turns out!

This is great story! Honestly every chapter leaves me wanting more!
I can understand where both of them are coming from. Zacky wants to follow his dreams and this may be his only chance but Kaitlin doesn't want her son to have a father who is constantly in and out of his life nor does she want to have to raise him on her own. I do however think that Zacky is being a bit selfish. He never once considered what Kaitlin is being forced to give up. She doesn't have any options other than to take care of their son right now. He's only thinking about his dreams and his wants and it's not really fair.
But I can't wait for the next update! :)
