I'm really excited to see where you decide to take this story. Your writing is superb. You have the right amount of details and dialogue to make it comprehensible and interesting.
And can I tell you that I like that the lead female character isn't a hockey player (nothing against them at all!) in this story. Beside the fact that she's Flower's sister, it was interesting reading how Katie and Sidney came together and how their relationship (or lack thereof) has developed so far.
Speaking of Katie...I love her character a lot. :) And I really like this Sidney too for some odd reason. Maybe its the fact that he comes off as an asshole which makes the interactions between Katie and Sidney that much more exciting. :D
