I realize you haven't updated this in a year or so, but I'm asking you- no begging you, to please update! You are driving me mad here! I've gone through and reread the prequel and up too the 17th chapter multiple times now, and its just....you need to update. Please update this, its amazing, it needs an ending.

I've seen this story and its prequel floating around for a while and only yesterday decided to finally read it.

You don't need to be told you're fucked up. But holy shit, how did you even... I can't even... Oh my god.

I read all of Suffer in the last 18 hours. And while I had my reservations about the sequel (I quite liked the original ending and dread seeing Mikey take on this role), I'm more than curious about how this'll all go on.

But I won't read it any time soon. Sorry. Too much stuff to do and already spent too much time on Mibba because of you.

Basically, I just wanted to let you know that the morbidity in your writing is magnificent. The way you've got these relationships going, the way Gerard was with Mikey and how Mikey had grown with his adversity, how the novelty didn't fit him and he didn't fit the normality of it, how the proceeding betrayal made him review his trauma and snap into a totally different demeanor and form of judgement. Beautifully written. Brutally real and honest and dark, psychologically teasing and emotionally tormenting. Great job.

I sincerely appreciate it. I mean, look at my username. MORBID BEAUTY. You have defined that, my friend, and I wholeheartedly commend you for it.

I just, idk...wanted to leave you a comment on that and didn't want to do on the prequel for some reason.

Can't wait to read how Frank reacts to his adversity, what happens to Gerard, and if Mikey takes on the role determinedly or breaks under his past self.

Chapter 17 [third comment today]:

Ray the silent observer. Their conversation about speculations was delicious.

Recording... My spidey senses are tingling. Trouble is bound to happen. Surly Frank will get to see his momma to share the good news! He should grow a pair and bitch slap Mikey. But he(Frank) could die if he did that...

Mikey is a bit of cunt, yeah?

Chapter 16 [second comment today]:

What are a couple guys to do, but joke about their moms. Yes, bitches do love Mikey.

Frank is the key to Mikey being good or bad. He's the only thing that matters to him.

Chapter 15:
It didn't even occur to me why Frank was like a young obedient Mikey. The narrative brings up good points. I guess I assumed he didn't want to get hit and wanted to please Mikey, but there could be other reasons that Mikey doesn't know about.

What I love about Mikey in For the Monsters that I've Been, is how he's a descent guy. He wants to be the good guy, but the way his brain functions due to Gerard's abuse triggers him to be ruthless. It's a constant battle for him. There hasn't been a blunt way to see which side he's more teetering on. Howbeit, there may have been subtle hints; like him not wanting to become like his brother. That doesn't exactly mean that he won't. No matter how disgusted he has become of himself and Gerard. It's simply what he knows. It's a thrilling ride, nonetheless.

What a great method of bringing in Frankie's mom. How awkward it shall be for Mikey, especially with his panic taking over.

So chapter fourteen...

The brotherly aspect of the chapter captured so much; the caring family morals, the sick relationship they shared in the past, and the arguement. Gerard drying his face was precious.

Gerard promised he would pick Mikey up on time like how Mikey was late to pick him up from the hospital. I enjoy that little stab.

Mikey's changing again. He cares about Frank and his actions.

Raymond.
I was wondering when he would say something because they (Mikey, Gee, and Frank) are so different now, it would be impossible not to notice. I'm glad he spoke up and I'm glad Mikey didn't completely deny everything. I'm nervous for the truth, though, but I don't really know why.

I'm also pleased that Frank got angry with Mikey. Even though the anger didn't last long at all, it was needed. If I were Frank, I wouldn't take that shit...but then again, love makes people do stupid things and I get that.
I really hope Frank is all right in the end, though..this can't be good for him, especially the whole situation with the bleeding scalp or whatever. He needs to stop that or I might cry - kidding, kind of.

i loved it but i hate what Mikey is doing to poor Frankie and Ray is very observing o.o

I'm way behind in this story. Oh my god! I'm on chapter 13.

I like how the chapter is mostly mikey weighing things. Pros and Cons of his relationships with Frank and his brother. Frank overdosed or sleeping. Who he valued most and why. To take or not to take advice from Gerard.

Oh shit! Frankie! Dammit Mikey.

I wonder what's going to happen when Mikey tells Ray the truth... can't wait for more.

This story and the prequel make me speechless. xD
It's just... So amazing, it's beautifully disturbing.

that was different it was as cute as this story can get you know but it was still good it still held all the qualities of the other chapters just letting good Mikey come out some more i have a feeling this won't last long

The way Frank's mom was acting reminded me of my own mom...at least when they were talking about Mikey.
The love Frank has for Mikey breaks my heart a little bit, I'm not going to lie. He could have died from the pills that Mikey was giving him, along with the fact that Mikey is both mentally and physically abusive at times...but Frank still loves him. While he deserves better, I wouldn't want him to be with anyone but Mikey.

When Frank said he'd try to visit his mom, I immediately thought "He'll probably have to ask Mikey first" and that's what happened, haha.
You would think Mikey would be more willing to let Frank see his family, when Gerard wouldn't let him see their mother...I don't know, man.
