just because you made this chapter not cliche, I love you AND this story even more. 'cause naturally, a child would be pissed that their parent(s) left and they had to raise themselves alone, but I love how you made Prosper not really want to hear the whole backstory. But dear, I suggest a few changes grammatically, there are a few times that you've changed tenses and there are also a few spelling mistakes.
Nonetheless, it's a great story, and keep it up :)

Hey, the story's great, but I thought you'd might want to know about (and maybe fix) this continuity error. Whenever you talk about Norah and college and whatnot:
1) At first it was her dream to go but now she's randomly changed her mind without any explanation
