The kiss I felt was a little too early, but the detailed argument compensated for that.

Okay, two things:
1. "I rolled over in bed, wishing I didn't have to leave the comfort of my pillows." -- know the feeling and the chapter all the more homely. :)
2. the man proposing to the woman on the bridge -- priceless; love the effect that it brought.
