That was a sad ending, but I loved it. It was the perfect way to end the story. A sad ending with a twinkle of hope. I'm so glad that I was able to be a part of the writing of this story. I also hope that I can join another contest similar to this or just like it. I really enjoyed it and we finished it! Good job guys!

Holy shit balls guys. This turned out so much better than I expected when I wrote the first chapter. It's really really good.

If she doesn't post in that time, I'm opening up the last chapter to anyone who wants to finish the story.

First off, Jack sounds awesome. I love him. Secondly, Alec is a sweetheart as always for wanting to go check on her, but kind of dumb for wanting to sneak away from an Army base. That's high risk. Thirdly, so what state are they from exactly? Probably the same state as his base because he plans to sneak away at night and return without notice.

Besides the logistics, I really liked that chapter! One of my favorites actually.

Aw I like the most recent chapter, definitely a keeper. You worked well with Cassandra's situation and definitely rose the stakes for Alec since he's going to sneak back and get to her. I like where it's leading, wish we could prolong the story though, things would get even cooler.

But kudos for all the medical research and knowledge. I'm sort of crap with that stuff. I was impressed.

Only 2 more chapters left, right? I'm eager to see what happens. I almost wish we could extend it a bit to make sure nothing important is left out :P

Awesome 11th Chapter. I really enjoyed it. The suspense is sort of killing me to see what happens next! I've come to care for the characters a little :)

Well, I guess I can go in and leave a bit of internal dialogue saying how her visit to Summer went. That could work.
