Oh my gosh it's been a week for me. lol. Sorry for the delay in commenting girl.
But aw, I love the way it ended! Yay! They worked it out. :DD
OMG, did writing for this story really make you want to pursue your writing career further? Or was that already planned? It's awesome either way, but that makes it even better if writing for this inspired you to do that. Wow.
Just one thing I spotted in the epilogue:
Jasey slapped my lightly.
'my' should be 'me'
But great job with the ending of this. I really enjoyed it, and even though it was cliche, it was very cute and I'm glad to see you pushed through and finished it. Hardly any authors do that now, especially when it's been a minute since they last updated, but you did and I admire you for that. That makes you an even better writer.

There was supposed to be a like in there - oops!
That feels like something I'd do. Find a really neat gift then freak out when it comes down to it haha. It's one of those things where it was massively a girlfriend-y thing to do.
And I tried to make it a little more natural, but it just didn't sit right. He had to finally snap, I think. But I'm updating now, and then there's not much left after that! :(

Aw, well, this is kind of depressing. lol.
But I'm glad Alex knows the truth, now. The ball is just totally is Jasey's court at this point.
Something I spotted in Eighteen:
Anyway, so I was leaving the library today and I get to the parking lot and he’s just stood there some sort of creep handing out flyers to anyone who walks by.
At the 'stood there some sort of creep' I think there should either be a comma there, or maybe add the word 'like'. 'stood there like some sort of creep' 'stood there, some sort of creep, handing'
Right? Just doesn't sit right originally. But I guess it depends on the way she says it. Character language can get confusing. lol. Or just general speaking language with just being lazy with some words, lol.
Great job with the updates, though! It was cute how Jasey bought him a guitar, but then it just got real intense, lol. Also, I felt like Alex went from 0 to 100 when they were actually talking, like it was all calm and then all of a sudden he's pissed off. Understandably I guess but still.
Can’t wait to see what’s next in store! :)

It's more cringey because it all feels a little... blunt? Now that I've re-read what's to come it's not as cringey, but that chapter just felt really blunt to me. IDK.
And it's supposed to stick out haha! It's him being like egotistical and imagining everyone knows about what happens and how he's embarrassed because she rejected, when really only like five people know, including him lol.
Aw, thank you! I've been trying to slowly hint at what she's lost that makes her so different from before, like through the first two stories there were little (and not so little) hints about writing and literature and then in this one: boom, she wants to be a doctor, out of nowhere. She's got a couple more things to realise before she's really back though!

For the record, I don't really get that. I guess by cringe you mean cliche, but... idk, maybe cliche doesn't bother me. Or I feel like I've read a lot more cringe-y cliche compared to this, anyway.
James is literally so stupid. And I'm so confused at this part:
“But you made it everything to do with me, Jasey. You brought me into this little world of yours, and then humiliated me in front of everyone."
She humiliated him in front of everyone... didn't she deny him at her house? Who is everyone? XD Has he gone insane? lol. Like his logic makes no sense. Unless he has literally gone insane, which, after this chapter, may actually be true. lol.
I'm glad Jasey is coming back to her original self, yay! :D I didn't even think about the fact that she lost that part, but I could definitely see how her character changed back in this chapter. So great job with describing it, and developing her character. I feel like there's a more writer-like term for it but I can't think of it at the moment... lol. I guess I mean like, good job with developing character depth there. Not many authors can achieve that.
... Is this comment making sense? I'm not sure. I think I'm getting deeper than you probably want me to while reading the story, lol. But just normally, like when I would read a character changing attitude, the transition isn't as noticeable as it was here. Like this transition Jasey went through really stuck out to me for some reason...
Anyway, I'll quit rambling now, lol. Just trying to leave some meaningful comments. Great job with the chapter! Can't wait for the next! :D

OMG you've never seen Full House? Stephanie? No? lol. Or maybe Fuller House on Netflix? lol.
Again, she's a lot older, so idk why I keep picturing her. She's like in her mid-thirties which isn't really fitting. lol. She doesn't really act like the Jodie in this story though, lol.
And ohhhh... sounds like a rough topic. Can see how you probably drew inspiration.

I don't know who Jodie Sweetin is haha. :') and the name reminds me of a girl who was obsessed with my then-boyfriend. Strangely apt considering this happened after I introduced her in Don't Make This Easy!
But I'm off work this week, so I'll be updating a fair amount this week, so not too long to wait to find out how he reacts!

Holy crap, that went from 0 to 100 really quickly. XD What in the world. James is a psycho. lol. Was not really expecting that tbh. I mean, I kind of felt like they were going to get together, but I thought it would be more mutual. Not for him to just start kissing her and her not accepting it. I'm glad she didn't, but I didn't really expect that. So it wasn't too predictable there I think.
I'm a little worried with what he's going to do. Is he going to stalk her? Like lol. Never like hearing the last words he said. Just a bit concerned with Jasey's well-being now.
But great job with the update, overall. Can't wait for the next! :)

As for the new update, I was literally reciting that part in Forget About It in my head... lol. It's hard picturing him saying that in real life. XD So literally Alex's voice in the song I pictured there, yep yep. XD
But I feel this chapter was definitely a bit of a breakthrough. Jasey needs to find herself, first; I think I can see the direction this is headed now, and how things will be resolved. :) I mean, idk exactly what you have planned, but it'll most likely deal with her finding herself.
Alex going there before she left was a little predictable, haha, but I'm glad that happened, because that led to the breakthrough.

I thought you'd commented before and I'd replied, obviously not - oops! With her still living in the house, I know it's really weird, which is why she tried to get him to let her leave, but it's sort of Alex's way of saying 'I still think this is going to work out.' Strange, but I knew what I meant haha!

Haha! Clearly, I'm pushing the updates out too quick for Mibba! :') there's a lot of things for Jasey to work through in this series, I think, and a couple of little twists that help her in making the right choice for her in the end!

LMAO so somehow I managed to read chapter 12 before 11. I only got one update notification so it confused me a bit. XD So then I had to go back and read 11 after I read 12 and that just got confusing, but I think I'm caught up with what's happening. XD
Plot twist would have been if she had called the girl Alex cheated on her with in the first installment. lol. I have sadistic humor when I'm tired. That wouldn't have made any sense if you did that BUT it would have been unpredictable. lol. I'm trying to think of someone else that could have been unpredictable but I'm coming up blank. But no worries with the obviousness, not much you had to work with really when coming up with someone.
I'm still wondering where this is leading... hmm... Jasey does make a point that their relationship was built on lies, so maybe after their time apart, it just needs to be rebuilt? I have faith!
I just read another fic that used A Daydream Away in it and I'm feeling sad, meh. Because it was used sadly in that story and now this one. :(
