I feel bad for Frank's lack of communication at school (even more than usual), but the indirect result of it was very positive!
They finally kissed each other on the lips, and actually admitted to their feelings.
The whole scenario was just gorgeous!
I really want to know where they'll go from here.
I mean, the relationship is slightly illegal, so they'll have to keep it a secret from most people, I assume. Except the ones they know will be accepting of such a relationship.
They're such a lovely couple in this story, and I'm also interested to see how it'll affect Frank's condition. It sure will be very interesting from this point in particular.

This update has taken you awhile, I know how hard it was for you to write it, but I tell you, it was all worth it... because this is perfect. It's showing the gateway into the future, and into what we all know will turn into a relationship. How can it not be, when they're so into one another already?

This update was full of so many moments that had me falling for Gerard, all over again. He's so sweet in how caught up on Frank he is, like...

I froze when I was a few steps from the door, eyes wide and ears straining to hear just what Frank's voice would sound like.

That is GORGEOUS! He's so into him, and it's beautiful. It shows how much he likes him already... it's truly adorable how intrigued he is by him, and the fact that he's thought about it so many times before... ah wow. Just gorgeous.

Frank is so cute. He's the cutest Frank, ever created. Hands down. But this Gerard is also adorably cute, in the way that he waits for moments like when Mikey leaves the room to make a move with Frank. And what's most adorable about it, is that he isn't even meaning to make a move! He's just acting on impulse, and so caring for this boy that he JUST met. This boy who has intrigued him and has him wanting so, so much more.

The innocense of all of their movements is what makes this story so captivating, I think. Anyone can write a scene where Frank leans up to kiss Gerard's forehead, but... the way you do it, it holds a whole new meaning, I think. Frank can't ask if it hurts, all he can do is lean up and kiss it, and hope that it feels better. And that is beautiful. Poor Frankie. He wants so much to say something, ANYTHING, but he can't. It must be so hard for him...

He stopped when I shifted slightly, and I was afraid that I might have made him more uncomfortable by resting my hand on his hip just below the bruise on his side, but when his fingers started moving again, he smiled.

And I fucking grinned.

*melts, followed by epic flailing*

Oh, those paragraphs were so well written. It's amazing how this story is purely driven on emotions and actions, and not by words. This is what makes this story truly special, there aren't very many out there like this that are so dependant on actions alone.

Like this:
He released his lip before running his tongue across it, before letting out a shaky breath and moving to lean forward.

His lips gently pressed against my forehead, lingering for a few seconds, before pulling back.

I forgot to breathe for a total of twelve seconds before realizing I really needed air to live, and after silently heaving as to not startle Frank, I moved the hand that lay on his hip to rest on his hand that was pressed against my neck.

He moved his eyes up from staring at my shirt, to see the grin that I’ve had on my face since he gave me that kiss. My thumb moved along the grooves of Frank's knuckles as I shifted forward, just enough that it was barely noticeable, though my chest was now pressed up against his.

I was still propped up on my elbow, so I had to lean down to press my lips to his hair, whispering a "Thank you"

OHMYGOD! It's those moments where words aren't needed, their actions speak so much louder than words ever could. And that my dear, is what makes this story so, so so special. <3

“Oh, Frankie,” I murmured, before propping myself up on my elbow once again. My other arm reached out over his body to curl my fingers around the back of his neck, and pulled my head forward to let it rest against the side of his own so that I could whisper in his ear.

“I'm sorry I hurt you again.”

*heart breaks*
Oh, it's SO good!!

"Frank knows a bit of Italian, so I ask him when I get stuck."

I gawked at my little brother, barely even comprehending what he had just said to me. I haven't even heard Frank speak english, and Mikey's already heard him speak in a whole different language? It was hardly fair that my little brother got to hear him speak at all.

Oh, poor Gerard. I can't imagine how envious of his brother he must be, that he's gotten to even hear Frank speak to begin with. <3

I liked that scene with Mikey, it was lighthearted and cutesey. That's always good to have, such a good balance. And oh, may I say one thing?

But of course, my favorite part of this update was by far when Frank asked Gerard to stay. It was so beautifully done, the emotions both of them felt... it was gorgeous. Gerard, how he appeared panicked because he feared that Frank would have another attack, but not only that... it was as if he was afraid simply because he wanted Frank to be okay. It scared him that Frank wasn't okay, and I knew when Gerard said that he'd give anything for Frank to be okay, he meant it. And that my dear, is something very few writers are able to do. Write emotions and bring them out, and make them believable. Shelby, it's beautiful.

The way that Gerard feared letting him go even just to walk across the room... OHMYGOD. So many moments had me just, flailing and on the edge of my seat.

Like when Frank had that one single tear that fell... my heart simply broke for him. He wanted for Gerard to say, but he couldn't tell him so. It must be so frustrating for him, and the way that he 'overreacts' is quite simply perfect, because Frank isn't a normal boy. He's a special boy, and I don't mean that at all in a bad way. Gerard realizes this and he loves this fact about him, he wants to know more about him and Frank wants so badly to get over his fear of speaking to Gerard and just... talk to him. Oh, how I can't wait for that moment to come... <333

But all of the kisses, all of the touches, all of their moments... it spoke so much louder than any few hundred words ever could. You did a wonderful job, my dear, and I'm so proud of you for writing this. You know I'm here for you always, and believe me when I say that getting to help out with this is very much an honor :arms:
