You never cease to amaze me at the depth of emotion you put into this. I know this is a tough one for you to write but you are doing it beautifully. It's all a crazy whirlwind of confessions and feelings. I hope it doesn't scare Erica off. I mean it's all good and dandy Brian is in love with her, but his timing sucks, big time. I know it all needs to come out at some point, but I hope it all isn't too overwhelming for Erica. And Jimmy, him and his 500 bucks. Suilyy drummer boy that I love so much, always bieng a goofy goober. <333

Oh my! I see Erica's side to this, that maybe Brian's actions were a little selfish, but I guess that people do strange things when they fall for someone. Although now they have themselves in a bit of a sticky situation, because Brian's laid his feelings all out on the table and Erica has to try and digest all of that, as well as come to terms with what Matt has done to her. It may screw with her head a little, but something tells me that maybe things will develop between Erica and Brian...even if it's really not the best scenario to be in, what with the friendship between him and Matt.

As Andie said, I'm glad that the guys know and that they are on Erika's side on this. And as for Brian's reaction, it may not have been the best way to deal with it, but I can totally understand it.
And I'm glad that Matt is wanting to seek help and that the others are willing to help him.
It's going to be interesting to see what Val says.

I'm so glad the guys are on Erika's side with this, that they cannot see any justification for what Matt did, and that although they will help him seek therapy, they won't change their stance on how they view the situation. Matt needs to be shown that you can't beat a woman and expect those around you to be fine with it.

And go Brian!! Matt deserved everything he got, even if it doesn't solve what's happened.

I want to kick Matt's ass although it would be hilarious watching a five three girl kick a six one mans ass because no man should put his hands on a woman.

I don't even know what to say regarding how difficult this must be for you to try and piece this one together, although as you have told me in the past, you find writing therapeutic, so I truly hope that this story will be the same for you <3
The reaction from the guys as to what Matt has done is something I don't think is going to be pleasant, because even though he may well be their best friend, surely this would be something they can't condone. And I'm glad that Erica took the decision to walk away from the situation, even though I have a feeling that somehow he's going to convince her to go back.

At the moment I'm worried about how jealous and angry Matt got about her wanting to spend more time with Gabe.

I love this first chapter, and I'm so intrigued to find out just what that summary is eluding to. Sounds as though Matt may have a slight jealously problem, but maybe once he meets Gabe, he'll be able to see why he's so important to Erica.
