Nice chapter. I would hate having to lie about what my real nature might be as well. Can't believe that she was able to do that. Can't wait to read more. Update soon!!!!!!
I cannot beleive you are still asking if it is Quantan or Xavier? lol. Although I am a fan of Vampires, I prefer the ones that are kind. From what I have learnt (fiction stories), there are three types of vampires; Good, Bad and Half-breeds. In the vampire story I read (Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead) there were
- the Moroi, which were good, drank blood to survive (but never killed, and the people were volenteers), had elemental powers and tried to stay out of the human world. They also seem to have a thinner frame compared to humans. They are easily damaged by sunlight.
- The Dhamphirs which are also good. have fast reflexes and enhanced senses (vampire part) as well as the human strength and speed. They have more of a human-like frame, and dont drink blood. They can also go out into the sun. They are trained to protect the Moroi
- The Strigoi, which are the bad. They have more of an undead appearance (chalky white skin and a red ring around their pupils). They also drink to kill, taking the blood of humans, dhamphirs and Moroi. They are almost impossible to destroy, and are strong and quick. People serve them as they are foolish enough to believe that Strigoi will turn them if they serve long enough. Strigoi are also cruel and arragent. Kinda like Xavier really.
I know more, but I'm sure I bored you with this. lol. ANYWAY! I found learning more about the Lamia past rather interesting. I'm sensing a bit of foreshadowing too, but I could be completely wrong. :) LOVED IT, CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE!! :)
I LOVE this story. Personally, I think there should be pages of comments on here, haha. Can't wait to read more. I hope eventually Myra realizes her true power and kicks some ass. :D Update soon!
So many words come to mind about this chapter. But, none of them are enough. :) Lurv it!! Also I know what a Djamphir is. Sort of. There was something like that in a story I read but I dont think there was a J.
