Well, I just read the rest of the chapters you have up, and I have to say, I'm really diggin' this!
To start off with, chapter three was just... wow. I mean, it's kinda hard to come up with the right word, cuz that kind of violence, like you put in the chapter, is more than just some slaps and punches. Like, who the fuck would hit their girlfriend with a fucking bottle? Well, apparently an alcholic. Hahaha. But seriously, man, it's just so unsettling. And of course, I feel terrible for Odessa, considering how much shit she's had to go through with James. Though, I'm glad she finally found the strength to have him arrested.
On to more light-hearted stuff, I thought it was really cute when Odessa saw Craig again, and this time he came in with his daughter. God, what a cutie!
And speaking of cute, I thought their "date" was just sooo fucking adorable. It seems to me like they have a lot of chemistry, and I love how naturally & effortlessly they can talk to each other. I see what Odessa means about not going any further than friendship, cuz with their pasts, it might really complicate things, but hell, they'd be a really cute couple!
So, ya know, I'm pretty interested to see how their relationship progresses, and if they happen to develop feelings for each other. As with your other stories, this one is quite addictive. So please update soon, dear!

So I only read the first two chapters since I'm tired as fuck (lol), but from what I've read so far, I really like it! It's actually kinda funny, considering I'm not a huge ETF/Craig fan, but your brilliant writing just pulls me in. For one, Odessa sounds like the kinda female character I can actually relate to. Sort of a troubled life, but I mean, at least she's hanging in there. She seems like a badass chick. :)
I also think her job is rad as fuck, and I love the realistic edge to the musical aspect of the story. It sounds like you really know what you're talking about! Haha.
But on a more depressing note, Odessa's relationship with James is just... uggh, I can't even explain how upset it makes me! Unfortunately, I've totally been there before. Not the abuse part per se, but the just being in a relationship which is clearly unhealthy, but not really having the courage to get out of it. Though, it sounds like she's finally ready to take that step.
And now that she's met Craig (which was super cute, by the way), it seems like her life might actually take a turn for the better.
Anyway, I'm really enjoyin this, dear! And I can't wait to see where you go with it! :)
