Now that Derek has threw it out there first it was just now even more painful to be used like that. Makes me think if he is just saying that so she would distance herself from him and keep her safe or if he really meant it. I know I am twisted when I say it would be better if he actually meant it because it's so cliche to have someone push someone away by saying something hurtful but then again either way is great. haha I am just talking about of my ass right now and even though it's short I still loved it. I am stoked just as much as you on the New Year's Eve thing on MTV. Just recently found out myself and so glad that you ended the year with updating this story. Such a great gift and I was so happy when I found this was updated in my email. :D Sounds to me like Cassie doesn't want to see Derek ever again. Don't blame her since she went and had sex with Derek while her friends were in trouble at the school and on top of that she didn't like it at all. It will be interesting to see what they would actually say or do to each other when they finally go face to face. Will Derek go and find her? Will he try to talk to her or ignore her like she has been? Can't wait for the next chapter :D

I'm so glad you updated and so sorry I have been MIA for reading your stories. I have been so busy lately and then story after story are being posted so I was catching up on the older ones and then I stumbled onto this one. Derek and Cassie gettin' busy haha no it makes perfect sense that they were going really fast in the relationship I was expecting you to have them go all the way but shocked me when you actually did instead of stopped like so many other writers do. It is best that way since Derek and Kate had a thing if I remember correctly. Maybe that did send him off and he wants to keep Cassie around so he knows what Kate and whatshisface are up to. He could be using her, that's my opinion and I did think it was adorable how he asked her first that is how it's suppose to be before you do it for the first time. So many boys just jump into it and don't ask making the girls having to jump in to have them stop what they are doing or smack them that was my case haha. Great chapter and off to read your other story :D

It was definitely worth the wait. I just wonder who took her even though I have the slightest hunch, since I do know your writing having a date with Derek wont be that easy haha it's never easy when it comes to him. Now I keep wondering why the Alpha has taken interest in her, maybe because she was wearing Derek's jacket and put two and two together and might use that against him later on?
