I enjoy reading this a lot! It's awful what she goes through and that this for things like this to happen often, but I'm glad that people like you don't treat it like a taboo thing to write about. I also likt that you don't sugar coat anything, or make it to unrealistic. I hate when people do that. Things aren't supposed to fall in the right spaces instantly; that's not real life. Anyway, I don't have a grandpa (one is dead and the other divorced my grandma a long time ago and is a jerk) but if something like this happened to me, and he was dying, I would be sad, and relieved. I can't wait to see what you put in the next chapter. Maybe John?? *wink wink* ;)

I really like this story. I've never read one like it before really, I typically stay away from the abuse ones but youve written this in such a different way. Her grandpa seriously makes me sick to my stomach but the perfect way youve described what she's gone through makes perfect sense as to why she is the way she is. Update soon, I'm dying to see what happens!

I really love this story so far. You've managed to take the not so original (yet still very serious) issue of abuse and make it fresh somehow. And your writing style makes everything really realistic somehow: i feel literally physically disgusted every time her grandad appears in the story, and jared's character is really realistic. I also love that the relationships between the characters are realistic too. It annoys me when the female character is introduced to a group of characters and they all immediately get on like they've been best friends for years, so i love how you're slowly evolving the relationships. I'm looking forward to the next chapter :)
