Amanda calling the cops on John because she believes that he killed Erika and he is pissed when he got bail out of jail.
It seems that he fell in love with Amanda and he finds out that she called the cops on him.
I blame Austin for putting that seed of doubt in Amanda's head.
I definitely can't wait for the next update!
