Someone sure must have hurt Charlie - I am guessing that she lost her virginity to some hockey player who then treated her like crap. She then wants sex on her terms and does not associate it with love.

That is why Jon scared her so much - she started to feel real emotion for him but could not let him in for fear of being hurt.

The ice princess is just a facade so she doesnt get hurt again.

Again, Charlie's reaction to everyone not Swedish is very strange. Eventually we will get the missing puzzle piece and things will make sense. And who was in Vik's room - it certainly wasnt Charlie!

But Jon's reaction to Charlie is, well, understandable. He has it bad for her, and no other woman will do - no matter how hard he tries. I am surprised that his spidey senses did not detect her in Vegas...especially as he was so close to seeing her.

I agree with Soupy; Jon is trying to forget Charlie. Poor Charlie she is just trying to figure it all out. Another great update as usual!

Jon was obviously trying to forget Charlie - drunk and women - but I think Charlie has it all wrong. She thinks all hockey players are the same - making me think a hockey player hurt her badly somewhere along the way

Also, what is up with Tom - I think he knows something is up with Charlie and Tazer. And perhaps will figure out a bit more when Tazer tries to contact Charlie on her blackberry!!

Oh no, I dont want Jon to give up that easily.

This story just gets more convoluted by the chapter.

The way I see it, Charlie really doesnt want a romantic attachment. She needs to be in control. To feel love would make her vulnerable.

That would explain the "affair" with her boss. Well its not really an affair - more a way to pass the time. That would also explain her feelings about Jon. She feels too much for him and it scares her. There is a secret she is holding - and Vik knows what it is.

It is just the rest of us dont yet.

Chapter 15 was great! So Jon is chocolate to her interesting; cant wait to find out what she means.

Chocolate? Perhaps it is because like a lot of us, Charlie craves chocolate, even though she knows it is not necessarily good for her. Although I am not sure why Jon is a bad idea.

I guess there is something more in her past that will explain why she feels Jon is no good for her. She has obviously been badly hurt before - maybe he was a hockey player.

I want Charlie and Jon to get together. Kaner is too funny in this story. Another great one.

Yah, I was pretty sure the encounter in the office was a dream ....I am glad that Charlie found her way back to the hotel. But disappointed she didnt stay!!

And I LOVE Jane Austen!! So appropriate.....but Kaner???? Who knew!

Still trying to figure out Charlie's story. Obviously she and Jon have great chemistry - she must have been hurt really badly in the past. Maybe that is why she is the Ice Queen - so that she wont get hurt again.

I am wondering who the girl was with Jon - I hope it was just someone from the PR department. But he obviously got rid of her quickly once he knew Charlie was around.

I am still trying to figure out Charlie's game - who is she and why is she playing Jon like this. Still sooo many questions - but that is what makes the reading so much fun.
