Well I guess that removes the biggest obstacle to Jon asking Charlie to marry him - I am sure he did not want to do it until he was actually free to do so.
It certainly wasnt because he was undecided - he has been "all in" for some time now, and had it not been for Jessica, Jon and Charlie, I'm sure would already be engaged!
I think if I was Jon I would kick Kaner's ass - you dont talk that way about someone's girlfriend. And while he didnt hear what Kaner said, he sees the way he looks at Charlie.
And if I was Charlie, that whole discussion would make me incredibly uncomfortable - and I dont know how she can continue in the "best friend" relationship after that admission.
I do think Charlie showed great restraint in not kicking Kaner out.
But I cant wait to see what Jon has planned for he and Charlie's future - I have a feeling it is going to be special
I think it is interesting that this is the second time Jon has avoided Charlie's overtures about their "future". He definitely has something up his sleeve and is not wanting to tip his hand yet.
And the whole thing about Kaner and Sierra - obviously there is something more to it...something that Jon felt it best to come from Kaner. But ewwwh!! The woman is a piece of work. I feel so sorry for Casper.
I keep thinking about the almond - and by my calculations, if we are at pre-season games, then we are the beginning of October. The year is slowly ticking down....
But Charlie biting her lip - wondering what she has to tell Jon????
I was figuring it was Kaner who had said he had slept with Sierra - that was why he was so hell bent on talking to Charlie first - before Jon could tell her.
In listening to the story, it is evident that something happened after Vik went to bed - perhaps in the hotel bar. I am guessing that is when Sierra showed up. It will be interesting to hear how she ended up with Kaner - and also how she knew so much about Jon - and Jon and Charlie.
It is good that Alex is wanting to get clean - because right now he certainly is not fit to have his son.
As for Charlie's proposal, I am sure Jon heard her. And I am sure he would like nothing more than to marry her. But I am also sure that he would like to make sure that HE does the proposing and that he does it in a very memorable and romantic way - the way he feels Charlie deserves.
But I am concerned about Charlie - she seems to be fainting a lot recently. I hope she is ok.
I figured we would see Sierra soon, and as per usual, she is up to no good. Charlie has got to go back to her resolve to trust Jon and talk things out - full disclosure, as the lawyer in her would say!
I did love Casper's rationale - that in the happy stories, the prince marries the princess...and that he should make posters to find a princess for Kaner!
But it was also sad to think what Casper had seen and heard between his parents - when his mom had a friend come to "play in her room" that made his dad so angry that he took Casper and drove away. Luckily he didnt understand fully what was going on but still, how heartbreaking.
Are they going to get their phones back? OMG. That was intense. and weird... but it was a good addition to the story. A whole new kind of drama. Do you know how long the story plans to be? It's an awesome story and insanely long. You're an amazing author btw.
I can see why phones were confiscated - Kaner's photo would have shown up on Deadspin for sure!! How does he get himself into these situations. I did think it was funny that Jon gave the cab driver an extra tip!
The club was "interesting" to say the least. The guys experience kind of reminded me of Mandy and Sid's experience at the "food fetish" restaurant in ASSS. I am sure that these places exist....but man you have to be pretty twisted.
And now that they have found Alex, what are they going to tell Charlie?
I do have one question, though....where is Sierra?
