Something Blue - Comments

I have never read a story before based on arranged marriages, but I was pleasantly suprised by how enjoyable this read is. Nathaniel seems sweet, and I'm intrigued about how his 'relationship' with Catherine will develop.

I've always had something against reading arranged marriage stories. But I've never actually read one before so I"m glad I gave this one a chance. I've just read the first chapter and already I'm intrigued. I can tell that you've put thought into this rather than just throwing the idea of an arranged marriage out there. I'm curious about Nathaniel's past, and interested to get to know his bride and how the two will mesh. :) Subscribing.

This is lovely so far. I feel Cathrine's pain the idea of an arranged marriage would tick me off to. I like Nate so far, he sounds like he's really sweet.

The summary is really well written it doesn't give to much away, but I wouldn't come right out and say that she does fall for him. I would try to imply that somehow though.

The layout and banner are both really pretty and easy to read. It fits well with the story.

The title is nice too since it references some of the older wedding traditions that a lot of people follow and it fits perfectly to this story.

I read both chapters and didn't see any grammar mistakes, at least I don't think I did anyway. This is really well written so far and I hope it turns out good for the both of you. Consider me subscribed because I can't wait to see what happens next and don't take too long to update! :)

This is intriguing. I've read a couple other arranged marriage stories, but this one tops them all. Even in its briefness, it has depth. I can already tell that there is basis for a good plot.

I really like Nathaniel's character. There was only a brief description, but I feel as if I already know him. He seems to be a nice, caring man who has already had his heart broken. I'm also curious to learn more about his first wife, Jeveava, and the circumstances of her death.

We weren't given much about Catherine, but I like the little that I know about her. She seems headstrong and opinionated, to very important characteristics for a strong female protagonist.

All in all, bravo. Another subscription for me.

I like this, it's cute and so far it's really short. I love the guys name, it's romantic. xD. I still haven't gotten to know much about the girl, but that's fine. I got to know about Nate and he seems sweet. He has a deceased wife which is different. I like this story. I'm gonna subscribe and it's going in my subscriptions journal. :"D
