I had to read through the last few chapters to catch back up. I'm glad You're back, I missed their relationship. Freaking Sidney being insensitive like any normal male human, scoff.

Hey - so happy you updated.
I do like how you have incorporated Sidney's playoff comments into the story. I know when it happened, it made me cringe a little bit - and I am a Pens fan. And as with Loren, my first thoughts were to wonder how Max felt about it.
Loren was right to call Sid on his behaviour - it was childish and reactionary - but in the heat of the battle sometimes things are said. I did hear that much of the trash talking in that series was over the line - crossing into personal attacks. Not that it excuses Sid, but maybe mitigates a bit.

I also like that Sid and Loren still bicker. They are both very strong willed personalities and of course they are going to butt heads. That's what makes your story so believable. That and the accurate historical references to the actual season. I like that they fight, but they still l....ummm, like each other a lot.

And yes, I do think it would be difficult for Sid to get a cab in Philly - especially that night!

Congratulations on all you have going on. It is a testament to your talent as a writer. I hope you get the internship...I am sure it would be exciting and it could give you lots of new material for new stories! Best of Luck to you!!

I think it is sweet that it is Sidney who is the emotional one - and Loren who is the pragmatic one. He is happy being in his cocoon of love, where she is preparing for the eventuality that they would be found out.

He is also the one that seems to be more committed to the relationship - although I could be misreading this. Maybe Loren is just fighting to maintain her individuality while in a relationsip with Sidney, whereas he just wants her to be with him.

I just hope they are both ready for the onslaught of what is to come!

I finished the first story last night and loved it and so I couldn't wait to get home so I could read this one. As I expected I loved this one as well! Can't wait for more! Great work!
