You have such a way with descriptions, I love it. I've only read the first chapter so far, but the story is awesome so I know I'll finish it at some point.

I really like how you were able to keep the "royal" feeling the chapter had through the entire thing, even in the dialogue. It made the chapter flow really nicely and kept my attention. There was a couple times where you the fancy words kind of took away from the chapter thought, like how Michael Weston. pointed out with the use of appendage, so maybe just watch that.

Once I read through more I’ll give a more in-depth comment, but well done on the first chapter!

Great update, I love that she is finally seeming to forgive him and it does definitely feel like the end is near. I anxiously await the rest :)

My thoughts while reading the chapter:

He was as pleased to attend this as his father’s funeral - this just speaks so highly of who this character is. I love it.

and no longer could the one look at the other - I feel like if you took out the word the it would flow just a tad bit better.

I also want to note that I love the variety of words you use. Every adjective is unique and that is something that I don't see a lot.

fury blinding all senses and sense. - this is awkward.

I love Henry's entrance and Edmund's exit.

So... is Vaughan the cousin? It was rather abruptly thrown into the mix of names, maybe if you had added it at the beginning of the chapter when you say that he arrived it wouldn't be so jarring. But that's just my opinion.

shaking his new acquaintance’s appendage - I understand wanting to use fancy words, but the use of appendage honestly made me laugh. It's a bit silly in my opinion.

way around the ton - typo; town.

My thoughts after reading the chapter:

From reading the first chapter I have no doubts that this is an amazing story. The descriptions you use are wonderful and the entire flow of the chapter was perfect. It held a certain feel to it that I really enjoyed. At some point I know I'll read more, but for now I'm just going to subscribe to it and save it for later.

Ahhhhhh! <---Is my reaction to you saying only about 4 more chapters haha. But the update was great, I can definitely see a heart to heart coming up....you know, if either of these stubborn folks can just let the other in already! Jeez :) I loved it and can't wait to read the rest!

Okay, I just spent my day reading chapters 2 through 26 of this story, and my only thought is, "What now?" Oh please tell me you will be back to update soon! I absolutely adore this story. It is something that I have looked to read for ages and it is so refreshing to finally see that someone else has written it (I didn't have a story in mind, more an over all tone of the story I suppose...) just the way you haven't rushed their relationship, I adore! Thank you for sharing this story and I cannot wait for it to be updated!

Okay, I have only just read the first chapter, but oh my goodness! I love this story! This is so interesting, well written, the layout is pleasant on the eyes...I cannot wait to continue reading! Really, seriously, so very good!
