Oh my gosh. No. No! Really? Can you just make the first chapter like a dream or something? I mean, I respect you decision because it's your story, but I can't believe you killed off Lily. I love the first story, I just feel like there was no motive or drive to get rid of her. I just don't think it gives to the plot. I mean, it creates a NEW plot (eg, Erin) but there was no literary REASON to kill off Lily. I was really looking forward to a sequel about their life together and Lily and James overcoming the hardships of her cancer. And now she's dead all of a sudden.
Wow. I hope I didn't sound rude or anything. This just really caught me off guard and left me wondering WHY it was necessary to do this...
I can't wait either I hope that lily will be ok in the end. Songwise: good song choice even though I like the original by Dave burns a little bit more then the Blake Shelton version.
