Ah! I know this was necessary but I feel bad for both of them! Sam is really hurting and Jon must be too, now that he has realized he's not over her. Hope he doesn't give up and goes after her!

Secondly, it is about time Jon realized he wasn't over Sam. They deserve to be together. Granted, he's gonna have to do a lot of ass kissing to get her past all the mean things he said.

me think Jon doth protest too much - he is still really hung up on Sam. He just doesn't think she could feel the same way, so he is lashing out and trying to protect his heart.

I kinda don't see how she's stringing Jon along. It's not like she's making promises to him, is she? If they are supposed to be friends, why would talking to him be stringing him along? OTOH, her relationship to Grant doesn't seem like it's got much of a foundation. She hasn't been honest with him.

I actually really like how you did the break up. Their individual rationals for the break up/accepting the break up work so perfectly with their characters. It's interesting seeing them then and their interactions now. I'm excited to see where this goes.

Their breakup was almost a lazy one - there were no hysterics, no cheating, no name calling. It seemed like neither was willing, at that time, to fight for the relationship.

But it seems, that over time, some of that laziness - or maybe it was immaturity - has dissipated. Or maybe just seeing that the feelings they had for each other were real and that they didnt come around every day. Sam doesnt feel the same about Grant that she did (or still does) for Jon!!

I guess we will see!

Just found this story and I love it! I feel so bad for Sam now that Elena is leaving!

Poor Sam - she just got Elena back and now she is leaving for Dallas. Jon is right Sam has had a rough day.

Maybe he can make it better!!!
