Im a bit confused now but I think you'll clear it up soon. its like a parallel of the past and present I think? but its not confusing in the way I don't understand, so don't worry. its still easy to get whats going on. Im just really keen to see how you tie everything up.

I enjoyed this chapter. Erik is such a brat. It was nice that he tried to help her out with her test. It makes me wonder why she's so bad at history. Hmmmmm.....

It was so sweet that he helped her at the diner. Waitressing is hard work. I was one for a little bit at an understaffed little place. Grumpy old people are the worst.
I too struggle with chapter length, but I thought you did lovely.
