The Ant and the Boot - Comments

Well, I missed writing a review for chapter 27, so I guess I'm just going to bunch these two chapters together. I must say I'm happy to see that Loki is actually telling Tony what his situation is. I have read comments about the possible feelings Steve may hold for Dove and despite all my efforts I couldn't stop acknowledging those nagging comments in these past two chapters. If people are right and Steve does have feelings for Dove and she starts to as well, I can definitely see a tragedy on the horizon. Especially on this most recent chapter I can just sense all the potential problems that could happen now.

Loki switching sides didn't really surprise me much due to the previous chapter. To me this is good because if he wants to be with Dove and his child, he has to make big changes. I honestly can't wait to see what kind of conversation he and Dove are going to have this next chapter (though I won't be able to read any updates till August, but I digress).

In regard to Dove's inner conflict about her parenting skills, I think she should talk to Pepper about it. It seemed when they first met they got along well enough. Plus I'd find it hard to believe that Pepper herself isn't thinking about how she and Tony are going to raise their child seeing as both are under the scrutiny of the press among other things. Overall, I think she needs a hug. There is nothing a hug can't solve... in my opinion though I know there are other people that will likely come up with a lot of situations where hugs are plausibly unhelpful.

At any rate I am excited to read the next chapter even though I probably won't be able to read it immediately, but... yeah.... Good work.

I think Steve fancies her. :x Which could be problematic when the little one comes around and Loki tries to come back to her.

aah i think steve actually likes her more than he let the others see..
bruce, don't like what he figured out.. no-way that she'll do that.. O_o and i love that he made her promise to not do anything..
woaah.. loki is switching sides now??!! i totally hope that he'll stay good, and think the way he did when he talked to thanos.. he's going to be a dad, he can't keep killing people not that it was he that did it, but he was on thanos ''side'' during the killings so...... aah gosh i love this story <3

HOPE! i love hope! But unfortunately I also feel doubt, but mainly hope and excitement and a need to hug everybody...

Loved the update, as always, I am thinking Steve and Dove start a little spark from here? ;D

And I just had another look through the website and read the Character page, seeing the last three I was like "SPOILERS SPOILERS! D:"
But then it was obvious anyway lol apart from the very last one! Can't wait for One Last Trick now and AatB hasn't even finished yet!

So yeah, looking forward to upcoming chapters :)

aawe loved the recording tony left for Loki, and that he's gonna think about it.. he better man up like tony said and be there for dove and the baby.. i got a feeling that steve's going to be there for her if he's not....

Wow. Every update you have makes me breathless. I love how Tony is so protective over Dove, it's almost like he really cares for her. I REALLY want to know what Steve wanted to tell Dove, I feel like it's gonna be BIG. Also, WHAT IS LOKI GONNA DO?!?!?!?!?!?!

Again, I feel so overwhelmingly touched by how beautiful this story is! Is Loki finally able to see the light? I truly wonder! Please update soon if you can!
