Pallid - Comments

This was the first story on here to almost bring tears to my eyes. Wow, this was just insanely great. And sad too, incredibly sad. But nice. I don't know, just wow, really.

I just started and finished this wonderful story today. It was lovely, I was very surprised and almost cried while reading the last chapter. I love your writing, this story was written very well. Thank you for creating this beautiful piece of art.

Your writing style is different from anything I've read before and it's amazing how you had me hooked from just a few simple lines. Your talent is beyond amazing and I was not expecting an ending so fast but you ended it perfectly :) good job

So I suck for not commenting on this sooner.

First off, Celeste. You have to love her and hate her. Because when she's angry she makes you wanna die and when she's happy you can't even speak because you feel so accomplished. She's the reincarnation of Lisa from Girl, Interrupted, with that whole sociopathic thing that she's got going on. She doesn't care what she's doing, or who she's doing it with, like she doesn't owe jack shit to anyone.

Second off, Rhys. At first, I thought he was absolutely insane. Who stays with bipolar psychos? But as the story progressed on, I realized that he loved her. He really truly loved her. And that he was lovesick, and that he didn't care if she was hot one second and cold the next, or unstable. Because he loved her. You don't run across love like that anymore, and I think you've portrayed it perfectly through Rhys.

Don't even get me started on Ulysses.

I'm so sorry for not commenting on this sooner, really. It's a lovely story, and I was quite sad to see it go.

You my friend, are a literary genius. I have been addicted to your story since you first put it up. Celeste made me mad and Rhys just plain aggravated me. I wanted so badly for her to admit she was in love with him, we all knew she was, but she was selfish. And Rhys stuck around because secretly he knew she loved him too. I guess it's a good thing.
Your story was really depressing, but in that good way that lets you know you've done your job ;) I almost wanted to throw Harry (my computer) in frustration. Luckily I refrained. Anyways, I was so happy when she told him that she loved him and i thought that FINALLY things were turning around. Celeste would finally admit her love for Rhys. Rhys would be happy and give her everything she wants like always. They would Live happily ever after.
Seriously, I was contemplating murder when she killed herself. But she was already dead so that wouldn't work. At first I was really just plain shocked, my heart literally dropped to my stomach. Then I was angry, then really really sad. But I mean, i think I would have been really disappointed if you'd made the live happily ever after. It wouldn't have seemed real. So I understand and I love the ending. But I don't like it...you get me? Anyways, great story, I'm on to that new one you started (with Pandora) so expect another obnoxiously long comment on that story ;D

i'm kind of glad she died only because i think it's the ending that would have made the most sense, if you'd switched it around last minute with her saying i love you and then having the ending be her and rhys being happy together i would have been like huh alright but this is perfect in a sad way and i love how you said it too "I wake up and she doesn't." that's such a perfect line in a really tragic way goddamn and THE LAST BIT "And that maybe she's better off than all of us." i think it's interesting that he thinks that and you're great and this story was great and i'm sad as fuck it's over but i cant for china doll

This story was seriously so beautiful. I felt from the beginning that Celeste was going to die, truth be said. I wasn't that put off by the ending, but it was still upsetting. All in all, I loved this. So thank you for writing a gorgeous story. <3
