I really like this so far. I hope Brian isn't an ass about taking Juliet in tho ( I only think this because of his uncertainess of taking her in at first) but I really love this! update soon!
I just got called in to work, so I have to run. But I had to comment first!
I liked that he was uncertain at first and didn't take her in straight away. It shows a story already developed, and I like that. =) It makes me interested to see how you continue this!
Borrowing my mother's laptop, because everybody decided to update while my own's off being repaired.
Bit of a filler chapter, but it makes me wonder what her father's going to say when he finds out that her mother's dead. Is he going to want her, or will he let her stay with her grandfather? D= Maybe Johnny will take her.
One of my friends recommended this, so I decided to give it a read. I love father/child stories (I'm even writing one myself at the moment - also set a few years into the future!) so it's always nice to see the different ways that people pull them off.
You said you thought the first two chapters were sort of drawn out - well, I liked them. I thought they were well-paced and very well written. At first I thought it was a little unbelievable that Juliet could have pushed a doctor over and ran half way through a hospital with her injuries, but when you're that worried about a parent... Yeah, I can understand how she was able to do it.
It tears me up that she missed her mother by only thirty minutes. That's the worst thing of all. =(
Can't wait to see where you take this, and whether or not you keep Jimmy alive. =) Instant subscribe.
