The description of when Sid took his sweatshirt off to put the Giroux jersey on - when his t-shirt rode up and Jess "squeaked" - I absolutely loved that!!!
Things are starting to get a little complicated. Jessica loves James but it seems that the electricity is missing. He is a great guy and he obviously cares deeply about Jess but that chemistry is a funny thing. Sometimes no matter how much you want it to be there, you just cant fabricate it.
Having said that, Sid seems to have it bad for Jess. Hell, he wore a Giroux shirt for her!!! And now that Aubrey is gone...who knows what will happen.
I loved Jessica's POV through the phone conversation with Geno and James - the dialogue that was going through her mind was very entertaining and enlightening.
I do think it is interesting that she is going to have Sid to escort her to the awards dinner. The sexual tension they are both feeling might just explode if they loosen up with a couple of drinks!!!
Nice chapter...I love your banter back and forth with everyone...dialogue is always the hardest part of writing and you have that down for sure. Can't wait to see what happens in NYC...
Glad you got your emotional TB experience... My highlight was getting my Coyote season tickets in the mail the same day as the Lockout and having to cancel my trip back home (Buffalo) for the Pens opener vs Isles, Sabres opener vs Pens and Sabres vs Wings because Bettman is the Devil!
I'm hopping on the bandwagon. Keep Jess and James together. Sid is not going to do anything but be her friend. Eventually. Get him away from Aubrey for sure but don't get him with Jessica!
I agree with everyone. Let's just keep James and Jess together. Because sid is not good for her. He doesn't really love her. He loves the idea of her. I relaly hope you update soon.
can James and Jess just be endgame and Sid and her can be bffs? Because it seems like Sid and Jess could develop a good comradarie, but I ADOREEEE her and Nealer.
You know, on face value I see where Jess and Nealer are sweet together and they are all loved up, but I just get the feeling that there is more to Jess's feelings than are really being said. I dont know - maybe it is just me.
And again, on face value, Sid seems to be getting what he deserves - the bimbo bitch from hell. He made his bed and now he has to lie in it. But his feelings for Jess seem to be eating away at him - that he almost took Aubrey on to keep from being lonely and to keep his mind off Jess.
But I think Sid has to realize that not everyone want "stuff" - I know a lot of the WAGs do, but he hates that. He has to realize that the quality girl - the one he desperately wants - is looking for someone to love her and appreciate her.
I really want her and James to be together, and i really want him to explain the blonde bimbo if it was his because now she's scared that she's not the right one for him.
I LOVE this story! It kills me to say that because I hate Pittsburgh & if you couldn't tell by my Dana Tyrell picture, I'm a huge Bolts can! Thankfully this one has some Lightning in it so I don't feel like such a traitor. I miss my team. Stupid lockout! Stupid Gary trollface Buttman.
You said you were on the news talking about the Lightning, so I'm assuming you live in Florida & are a Bolts fan too?
