  • Though I am not a huge fan of Harry Potter fan fictions, I must say this is different. I like it a lot mainly because it's lot a Harry/Draco/Ron love story or anything of that sort, it's actually before Harry and settling at James's time period. Though there are some mistakes that can be fixed, this is brilliant!

  • That was really good! So glad comment swap brought me to it! I'm a massive HP fan, but I haven't read to many fics. i love the idea of James having a sister, I always thought it was weird in the book that Harry had no wizard relatives.

  • So let me start by saying that this is the first Harry Potter fanfic that I’ve read in well over a year. This pleases me greatly to have received this in the comment swap. I really am glad that I got this, because my interest in Harry Potter is kicking in again. And on top of all that, this seems to be a Marauder’s era fic…All the better, because of all the characters in the series, the Marauders were some of my favorites.

I love the way you’ve given such a personality to Kathrin already. I think it’s quite adorable that she’s James’ sister, even though he’s one of my least favorite characters. It’s always fun to see characters like that, and I always like seeing stories with Sirius as well. The way you had him goading her at the front is very adorable; very cute. I can’t wait to see more of what happens between the two of them.

I like the friendship you’ve developed between Bready, Rengine, and Kathrin as well. It’s rather reminiscent of the first Harry Potter movie for me, when Ron, Hermione, and Harry met. I’m not sure if that’s what you were going for but I like it. I also like how you gave personality to the Sorting Hat, which is something I’ve always had difficulty doing. Congratulations on that remarkable feat. :)

In the second chapter, I really love how you’ve put Madam Hooch into the story. She was always one of my favorites, just because of her take-no-shit attitude. I like the way you incorporated Slytherins into this as well. It’s like reading a new Harry Potter book, and I love that. You’ve got talent. It’s quite beautifully written and I really, really am admiring this piece of work that you’ve put out there for us to read.

I’m definitely going to subscribe and wait eagerly for the next installment!

  • I'm a big Harry Potter fan, so I was a bit excited to see this story in Comment Swap. I love how it's starting off, and everything seems to be thought out and written well. The relationships Kat has developed with Sirius, her brother, Rengine, Bready, and Sydney are completely relatable. I'm curious as to what will happen later on in the story. Keep up the good work (:

  • I like the start of this. To be honest, I haven't really read any Harry Potter fanfics, but I do really like this one. I'm curious as to find out what will happen between Kat and Sirius in the future. Aside from that, this is very well written. And I can't wait to find out what will happen to Kat while she is at Hogwarts.

  • Harry Potter fanfiction was the first kind I ever got into, so it's always nice to be directed to a good one. Not many are set in the Marauder's time so already this is something different. The relationship between Kat and Sirius is really realistic. I hope to see this continued, it's a really good start =)

  • Comment Swap...I love this!!!!!!! Your story idea is very interesting and it's Harry Potter, so kudos to you. You did very well with your details and describing the boat ride and the sorting hat. I thought it was funny because Sydney reminded me of Hermione and Regine( I spelt that wrong sorry) reminded me of Ron. Anyway keep up the updates. I'm subscribing

  • I liked this, so this would be set in the Mauraders era correct? With Harry's father? Forgive me as I am not the biggest consumer of Harry Potter fan fiction. I enjoyed it very much and it was a break from the normal fan fiction that I read on here which in the end was very desirable. I enjoyed the interactions between the characters and this is a rarity I do not have any complaints. Good luck and may the pen be ever in your favor.

  • Comment swap brought me to your story, and I’m glad it did!! I’m not a very big Harry Potter fan, but when I read this chapter, I actually liked it! It was very well written, with maybe a few mistakes here and there, but all around it was great! I cant wait for you to continue with it! You had me interested from the very beginning. It was like a little movie playing in my head as I read it. I actually imagined Hogwarts and the lake with the boats, and even the hat. I really liked it!!(: You have great writing talents. Very Happy

  • Comment swap:

Interesting, not my thing but still good. The idea is very good, the idea that’s it’s after the books and is can’d the story of a normal girl wizard… I like the way that it’s very like someone thought pattern (if that make sense ●‿●) The character are very clear and you can get the personals. I LOVE the layout, really nice to read. Good luck!

  • I quite liked this, it has good solid basis to continue into a story and you're characterization was very good, plus i absolutely adore the names that you use for you original characters and how they're intergrated with the already created hp characters. in all, very good.

  • Comment swapper! All right, the plot IS interesting. (Oh, Harry Potter fan fics...) But there's one thing that stood out to me from the beginning of the summary to the end of chapter 1 - there is a large amount of run-on sentences that are really in need of commas. Read it over, and if you don't see what I mean, feel free to message me and I can further explain.

All in all, good start, I hope it goes well!
