I think she is going to choose Sid but he is out 'mingling' as you put it and she goes back to whats his name because she thinks that Sid has really moved on or something stupid like that.
I thought for some reason they were going back to her place I was wrong ha I think that she will think about it for awhile but I'm rooting for Sid on this one.
Ah love the update! She needs to dump Charlie and be with Sid. I have this feeling since they are going to her place that Charlie is going to catch them.
Ooooooh. I love Sid and Anne. but I want her to break up with Charlie and then get together officially with Sid. I just read over your Kris and Greta story again and was nearly in tears... again. haha. I'm such a sap. But anywhoo, This is really a fantastic story and I'm so glad that I got all caught up. Can't wait for more!
Good for Greta - getting them alone was a great idea. I am always a proponent of honesty, so I am glad that Sid was forthright about his feelings.
But what I dont like is the fact that Anne has admitted that she doesnt love Charlie, kisses Sid like there is no tomorrow, and then she and Sid conspire to meet after the game, behind Charlie's back. Why doesnt Anne just talk to Charlie and say that things just arent working for her and it would be best if they went their separate ways. That would then mean she would be free to be with anyone - and by that I mean Sid.
I just think that sneaking around is a) not a great way to start a new relationship and b) is just asking for drama as eventually you will get caught.
Love the update, Sid is so cute giving her his toast because of charlie eating all her's. Update soon! Oh and I'm glad Sid didn't take that girl home!!
I am glad that Sid came clean with Anne about the redhead.
The toast thing was also very sweet. More than anything it shows he is in tune with how Anne is feeling - as opposed to Charlie who is coming across as crude and insensitive.
There is an obvious attraction between Sid and Anne...and maybe circumstances before did not allow them to pursue their feelings. But their conversation at the diner seem almost conspiratorial in nature - something is definitely brewing!
Okay, so I left that comment before I read the first chapter. That ending just wasn't fair. You literally had me gasping. They had better get together soon!
