I don't blame Kolby for doubting Kenneday when he says if she couldn't handle it, she'd find a way out. It's usually the opposite, especially in high stress situations where someone doesn't know how to get out exactly; you stay in the situation because you don't know how to escape it.

“If you continue to look at me like I am some form of alien-like creature, you might regret doing so,” Loki sighed as he turned to a new page.

But Loki, you are an alien-like being.

Kennedy noooo, can't you just realize that it isn't entirely too late to back out? Like, look at Clint. Look at Natasha. More so Natasha. She did tons of horrible, fucked up things to put her on SHIELD's radar and she works for them now. Dammit Kennedy >.<<br />
This was not a shitty chapter and I want more like, yesterday.

Looking forward to her possibly wreaking havoc and causing chaos :p

Oh Kennedy D: giving me these feels.

Oh, Nietzsche and his philosophy. The most depressing philosopher ever, but also my favorite haha.

Steeevvveeee I cannot handle your forwardness right now; it's so perfect. And I like how Kennedy asks him if he has a waitress to 'go court'. Maybe it's her use of the old-fashioned term but idk, it made me smile.

This probably has to do with the fact that it's 6:30 in the morning, but when they kissed my first thought was 'AMERICA!'...yeah, this probably has a lot to do with the fact that it's 6:30 in the morning.

“You like to stare at my ass just as much as I stare at yours, don’t deny,” she smirked.

Kennedy deserves a high-five for her snark.

No Kennedy don't leave the country dammit that's like treason you just made out with Captain America.

I just have to say that not only are you description vivid and well-written, the dialogue is ace, and I especially loved the last bits of dialogue about his birthday, decorations, and porn stars (it's the thought that counts, I'm sure haha). There are so many things I want to highlight and be like 'I love that' or 'that's perfect' but I'm probably be highlighting the whole chapter and that would be annoying. So just...everything, from Kennedy just looking at him all innocently and blinking to Steve with a toothbrush hanging from his mouth. Just why so perfect, okay?

    Looking forward to more!

I loved the movie selection XD Steve would totally not see the appeal to the Titanic movie (honestly, neither do I; never seen it).

And now I will sit here wincing at phantom pain in my own hand, thanks.

    Kennedy, don't snoop!

    Well shit.

I wonder how she's going to react to Steve having that file. I mean, she could easily panic over the connection, or she could try to research why he would have a file on someone she only knows as a psycho who tortured her.

I really loved the domestic aspect of this chapter (I still ship it, dude) and I thought it was pretty sweet that Kennedy convinced him to use the DVD player as a date night thing, but thought of the waitress and not herself lol.

Update when you can, just definitely take your time in doing so, and I'll be happy to read whenever :3

    Kennedy D:

He just gave her a look that she could only equate with ‘bitch please’.

Oh, it is so canon that Steve has the best 'bitch please' facial expression in the world. At least it is to me.

I would jump if someone that had tortured me popped out of a crowd. So props to Kennedy on that.

Again, I'll say "oh shit" on one of your updates. Also, is it bad that I laughed a little at the sentence "I'll remember that"? because there's like, so much he doesn't remember. ~IRONY~

Gah, Kennedy needs a hug D:

Why must you give me feels?! Also, I was sort of freaking out because I was afraid that Steve WOULD show up out of nowhere and that wold just be all sorts of asdfghjklgodDAMN because yeah. Because of reasons.

I'm articulate as always, as you can tell.

Need more. Needs to be next Saturday.

He moved with the grace of a predator, something animalistic was present in the way he carried himself. Even his dark brown eyes were like a predator’s; gauging and assessing every possible outcome of the situation in the room. The air around him crackled with unbridled, volatile aggression.

    I. CANNOT. WITH. DESCRIPTION. BECAUSE. PERFECTION.

“Pedophilia’s frowned upon here, you know,” Kennedy returned. “I mean, I don’t know how it is in the motherland but, comrade, little girls and their clever mouths…it’s a dangerous path.”

I laughed. And then I laughed more because Kennedy, don't be so easily distracted by shiny objects.

And you warned me that he subtly calls her a whore, but I forgot about it until that last line lol.

But gah! I look forward to more Kennedy and Winter Soldier interactions (shit, I hope I didn't spoil it for anyone else - oops). I'd like to say that I think you captured the violence and the brute force perfectly, especially with his methods, because I feel like there wasn't a "too much, don't do that" limit to the things that were done within the Red Room. Also, a lot of people tiptoe around making his actions violent because of who he is, maybe because it makes them uncomfortable, but that's the whole point of the Winter Soldier vs. Bucky Barnes complex; they aren't the same person, though they share similar aspects of personality. I'm rambling here, but what I'm trying to say is good job lol.

Also, I adore the mute concern that Loki seems to have over Kennedy. I mean, I would assume he didn't care but he brought up the subject with the "you irritated him" question, which I kind of took as an "are you okay?".

Will you update more often over holiday breaks and such? Because that would be awesome. Because if so, I can't wait for the holidays. Because I need more now.

I just want to say that I am highly amused by the image Loki watching TV in full-on Asgardian wardrobe. Like, really amused. If only I could draw people (I really ought to practice doing so).

Also, Loki, you sound like my mother when I change the TV channel when she's sleeping, and magically wakes up because she was 'watching that'.

I loved the Sushi and Greek code thing, too.

I AM FLAILING. FLAILING. ALL THE THREATS. ALL THE SASS. I. CANNOT.

Also all the domestic Loki and Kennedy. All of it.

WHY MUST YOU MAKE ME LAUGH AND SQUEE THEN WANT TO CURL INTO A BALL OF SADNESS?!

“I like the outfit,” Steve said after a few minutes. “You have nice legs.”

“I totally would have made money if I set up a pool as to whether or not you were a leg guy,” Kennedy said, grinning slightly.

“You probably would have,” Steve laughed before letting things fall silent again.

I agree. Steve is totally a leg guy.

    So, in conclusion:

UPDATE LIKE, YESTERDAY ALREADY MY GOD. I NEED MORE OF THIS NOW. WHY IS THIS SO PERFECT AND EVERYTHING?!

I squee with joy and fluffy feels and I'm only four paragraphs in.

“A great pair of ass-hugging jeans, that’s what you need,” Kennedy nodded with a pleasant smile stretching her lips. “Something that shows off your, most likely, well-toned ass. Or butt, whichever term you prefer.”

    Kennedy has the right idea.

Also, leave it to Darcy to be the first to apparently connect any dots.

Also, you write Clint very well, just sayin'.

    I NEED MORE NOW.

I LOVE this story and it's prequel. I've been obsessing over the prequel for the past week and read it every second I have free time and I finally finished it, and now I just got to the last chapter you posted of this and oh my god. It's amazing to say the least. I was flipping out yesterday because stories were down and I couldn't get to read this ahaha.

I love how Loki isn't all over Kennedy like in a lot of fanfics I've read where by chapter three they've already slept together. He's in character and so is everyone else. This is literally a perfect fanfiction in my opinion. It's not rushed, it doesn't drag, no one is out of character, it's not cliche by any means. Perfect! Haha I'm so happy I found this!

I first want to thank you for not writing Steve as a 'blushing virgin' or oversensitive. And yes to the dry humor, okay? Just yes.

Now that that's out of the way.

I'm glad she got away from those creeps. Curious as to what havoc she has planned that she has to bring Kolby in on it.

As always, I'm looking forward to more :3

    BEIGNETS.

Sorry, I noticed them in the chapter and had to point them out.

I think she's going to have a bit of a rougher time keeping her identity secret when she's posted at the Tower. Someone is bound to notice that when Kylie is gone, Kennedy is causing trouble. But I look forward to clashes and conflict, so I can't wait for more.

I still love the dialogue between Kennedy and Loki.

I'm very curious as to what business Kennedy is in. Obviously crime, yes I know, but it seems like she's implying that she works for someone or for a group of people. So I'm looking forward to that.

    Always looking forward to more.
