In here it doesn't really happen, at least not in my closest friends.
It's possible to get pregnancy before puberty? That's so strange.

Yeah most of my friends are married, have kids or just have kids. So many of them are on their second child. It's crazy but strangely normal over here because of the epidemic of younger people having kids and getting married. Yes it is possible and she hit puberty around 10 and I know girls can get pregnant before they have their periods. The youngest I heard was 8 year old.

I have too many friends that are pregnant, have kids or already married. There are only a few that I keep in touch with and those people aren't any of those things. It is just crazy how much of an epidemic teen pregnancy turned out to be. The youngest girl I have seen pregnant was 11 years old.

Yes, I can definitely relate that to my grandmother as well.
Well, I understand your grandmothers opinion. I have a friend that became pregnant when she was 13 and now her life is a 'mess'.

Most grandparents are like that. Mine want the American dream for all her kids and grandkids, go to college and get a degree, get a stable job then get married and have kids. More importantly finish college. Since she only went to the third grade she wants better for all of us :) her mentality is pretty modern and she gets upset when you end up pregnant so young

Yes, it was even harder when they were forced to get back and leave their stable lives there.
Exactly, our perspective is really very different.

Wow that must have been hard and we never been through something like that so our mentality is different

She was born in a totally different time and she went through Dictatorship in Portugal, to the point that she lived in Mozambique with my grandpa for a while.

That can happen when people start to go back to their roots. It's natural and she was born in a different time than us so it probably seems more plausiable and comforting to be who she is

Exactly but as she ages she's becoming more and more traditional.

She's both. I get it she might be strict on one area and liberal on the other.

Yes, I had a lot of my grandmother's influence and I can't really say if she's strict or liberal, she's a weird mix.
    That is true, maybe someday.

My parents are the exact same way but I was raised more by my grandmother and she's old school.
No but trying is always adventurous.

I was influenced by both: my dad being very strict while my mom was more 'free', to it was all a bit messy until I developed my personality.
I know, it's hard to put yourself in someone's shoes when you have no idea of what's it is like.

Ah I see. While I was raised a little bit old school so it's easier for me. I don't know if I can write one either because they are all about them and writing about it...idk it's just hard to imagine

Submissive in the sense of the 'old days' is a bit hard for me. All my characters have something they submit to, I'm aware of that and in relationships it happens definitely. A spoiled brat is the hardest for me too, I'm not even sure if I ever felt brave enough to write one ahah

You have a hard time writing submissive characters? I think they are the easiest in my opinion. Spoiled girls is what I have a hard time with, a people pleaser I can write but a spoils brat it's harder for me.

Indeed and I didn't want to make her a 'hopeless' female who just wishes to marry and have children. I wanted a different character because I'd have a hard time writing something like that and feeling that it was actually good.
