Close Your Eyes - Comments

This is so beautiful and a feeling I know well. The imagery you create is wonderful. It's a short piece but sometimes less is more. You describe the feeling so perfectly, you can feel the love in the words, It's so passionate. Beautiful, can't praise it enough.

It's amazing how a piece this short can make me feel so much. It is really clear that she very much in love with him and only wants good things for him. She just wants him to be happy, because that would make her happy. She wants their love to last forever and it is one of the most beautiful things to want, sometimes even need.

I’m really happy that comment swap picked your story, because it was truly beautiful. I couldn’t find any fault with it, and to be honest, I couldn’t possibly give you constructive criticism on this. All that I can say is that you write beautifully. Your writing was concise, cut to the point perfectly, but there was never a moment when I felt like it lacked detail. It just seemed to flow out of your pen effortlessly. I don’t know what I could add, expect ‘keep writing, because you’re obviously very good at it’.

I'm not exactly sure what went wrong with my last comments :/ for some reason everything's been off lately I think it might be my Internet :(

I'm not usually moved by writing but this piece was so beautiful it genuinely brought tears to my eyes!
As someone who uses comment swap I wasn't expecting to be given such an amazing piece to review!! Your writing has inspired me very much and gave me the motivation to write one of my short stories called Cell, I wish I could give such emotion within my writing as you've done here!!

I wish that I was able to convey such a beautiful image in only a few words. It's incredible, really. You paint the perfect picture and everybody who reads this can feel the emotion behind it. I adore the length. If it was any longer, it would have taken something away from it. The simplicity, maybe. The simplicity that makes it so brilliant. Even the layout adds to the mood. Good job, by the way :)

This is fabulous. It's short, but the words are concise and wisely chosen. I like the flow of her feelings.

This is lovely. It was really simple but also really loving. I like the way you wrote it too, just the way you construct your sentences, some really short only with adjectives. (I do the same thing) I like the effect it has. This was a really good little scene, I enjoyed reading it. (:

So, I made my way over here through comment swap~ I think this little piece is something we can all relate to. :] And when reading through it, it's just so honest and it flows so naturally. You did a really good job in doing so much within such a short scene.

Woo! I love when I get a cute little story like this! It was easy to read! You have a very natural tone, with your writing c: I like how you were able to use simple, small words and bring out a lot of emotion with them. Also, you definitely used a lot of commas here, but it worked! Everything sounded really breathless and dizzy and I don't know, I just really liked and appreciated this c: Especially the end, that made me aw' c:

I really like this. I like the language, the vocabulary, and the meaning. It made me think of my boyfriend, and I love that feeling. (:

I guess the only thing I can think of (and this is petty, I really dislike layout comments for Comment Swap, so I'm sorry) is that the gif at the top was very distracting for me. It's cute and well drawn, but the movement gets me every time. xD Even now I'm just staring at it.

I like your layout for the story. It’s nice. The quote is lovely. The title of the chapter is nice as well. I like your first chapter. It’s rather short but I think for this it was a great choice. I like how you showed how this person cares for the sleeping person. I like it good job!

So this was really sweet. It reminds me of when I'm lying next to my boyfriend. 'Cause I watch him at times and I think of these things at points. It flows really well and it just doesn't seem like it should end. So really, I liked it. (And I came here from comment swap.)

Oh and there wasn't any grammar or spelling mistakes which was very nice!
