I must admit that Sid's reaction was pretty much as I imagined. I figured he would freak initially, say some really inappropriate things and then, upon reflection, actually settled down a bit and gave Janelle money to help her out with her medical bills. And based on her reaction, it would appear that he gave a lot of more than necessary.

I really hope that Sid realizes that handing out money to people - as he has now done twice with Janelle - is not the answer to everything. Yes, it can be a nice gesture, but nothing takes the place of emotional involvement. Janelle needs to know that she is not alone in all of this. And ultimately, this baby will need more than just money. The baby will need a father.

OMG !! Firstly I wanted to hit him with a blunt object for being so heartless toward janelle. She didn't deserve any of it.
Until he gave her the money to help toward the medical bills. He didnt have to do it. he could have left her with nothing

It showed There was a bit of genuine concern for her and although he may not care yet, their unborn child.

The money was sweet but somewhat awkward - I understand her reluctance in taking it. But his offer was genuine.

For a one-night romp of hot sex, I found there to be more underlying emotion accompanying everything then I would have thought - at least on Sid's part. He even asked her to stay.

Now maybe that will change when he finds out their "stress release" has resulted in an unexpected outcome.

Nothing like a bit of hot sweaty sex to make you feel good after a shitty day :p

But I've a feeling this isn't going to go down too well when Sid finds out. Condoms can fail if they're not put on correctly or if they split. Poor janelle, I really feel for her at the moment.

If Janelle didnt have bad luck, she would have no luck at all. Now mind you she did just finish making out in the middle of a bar with Sidney Crosby - and left with him - so maybe it isnt all bad.
