i just read this whole thing and far out dude why do you write such cute shit like SERIOUSLY OK MY HEART WENT OUT FOR LIAM AND PENNY AND OH LORD I CAN'T STOP SMILING WHAT HAVE YOU DONE
I literally just sat down here and read this in its entirety today and I'm both happy and sad that it's finished already.
I'm sad because it was amazing and I want to read more, and I'm happy because I think I might have died from all your cliff hangers, girl.
I love how this all started because Liam accidentally called Penny, and he just wanted to be normal and so he lied. You made it very realistic and I loved how Liam felt so bad about lying and Penny forgave him and ugh, they’re perfect.
But really, I adore your writing style. You characterization is excellent, and even though we all know who Liam is (well, I’m assuming everyone on the face of the planet does), you still built him as a character and wrote his emotions and interactions with Penny with so perfect.
I was so excited to read the next chapter every time one ended. I was seriously bouncing up and down in my seat when they met and they kissed and ugh. It was fantastic.
I could gush about this story for years, but I’ll leave it at that for now. Amazing job!
I remember watching the television show of the same name, so that's really what drew me in. I'm not a One Direction fan at all, so please ignore my ignorance on certain subjects, haha!
Firstly, I love that Liam is trying to hide who he really is. It was the whole essence of the television show and probably the part that enthralled me the most. I never did understand why people would lie about themselves, but I guess Liam kind of has a reason to. I also like that he feels really bad about it. Some of the people on the show didn't even feel remorse about lying, which I think is a bad foundation for any relationship but Liam genuinely feels bad about lying to Penny and that makes me like him more as a person.
Penny and Liam seem so perfectly suited though. They seem to have this goofy flirty relationship throughout and I found myself hoping that she didn't hate Liam when they finally met. I'm glad that you didn't have her completely forgive him straight away. Having the confusion and the anger at first made everything very realistic and I love that you added that little touch in! But at the same time, I'm so glad that she forgave him because they do just seem too cute to not be together! The epilogue was just the most perfect and adorable ending I could have ever read on this story.
Your writing style is really lovely, everything is described in just the perfect amount of detail and you've got a really good grasp on the balance between dialogue and description. I didn't find any errors either, which made me more happy than you can imagine.
In short, I absolutely loved this. Cute, realistic and well-written. I don't think I could say much else, this was fabulous!
Awww, this story is so cute! I read ALL of it today. I love the fact that Penny didn't just fall for Liam because he was the Liam Payne, she fell for him because she loved him for who he was, even if they had only spoken over the phone at first. I loved every bit of it!
Oh, and I loved the last chapter. Especially the very last bit
